About This Game

Every decision becomes part of history

You have one presidential term to preserve the republic.

Over 48 months, ministers, diplomats, investigators, military officers, activists, and ordinary citizens will bring urgent issues to your desk. Each case offers two defensible choices. Neither guarantees safety, and every signature changes the country's future.

Information is incomplete. Decisions are final. Consequences remember everything.

Read beyond the main briefing

Behind a confident report may lie a disputed source, an unaccounted cost, or a warning hidden in an appendix. Open the supporting documents and examine them with a pixel-art magnifying glass before choosing a political course.

Evidence can reveal what the speaker left unsaid. You may request a second opinion, postpone certain decisions, or act immediately - but delay carries a political price of its own.

Govern a living political system

Your decisions continuously affect five indicators:

  • Public trust

  • Economy

  • State capacity

  • World standing

  • Tension

Keeping only one indicator high is not enough. A prosperous country can lose the trust of its citizens. A powerful state can provoke a crisis. International success sometimes demands concessions at home. If one of the critical systems collapses, your presidency may end early.

Form your cabinet

The cabinet is more than a list of names. Ministers have their own skills, loyalties, and political views. Request second opinions, deal with internal disagreements, and reshuffle the government when it needs a new direction.

Your allies remember whose advice you followed, which promises you broke, and who was forced to pay for your decisions.

Shape long-term policy

Your presidential tools expand as the game progresses:

  • Examine evidence and classified documents

  • Manage a cabinet of recurring political characters

  • Pass laws with immediate and long-term effects

  • Build relations with fictional states

  • Face multi-stage crises under time pressure

  • Track previous decisions, active consequences, and the history of your term

Early decisions can unlock follow-up events several months later. Reforms create delayed consequences, allies remember previous agreements, and unresolved problems return in more dangerous forms.

A new presidency with every playthrough

Each new game uses a reproducible world seed and creates a different sequence of events, consequences, and character stories across the 48-month term. The complete pool contains hundreds of political events and documents in Russian and English.

It is impossible to see everything in one playthrough. Different priorities, cabinet relationships, and national conditions lead to new crises, opportunities, and endings.

Seventeen possible endings

Reach the election—or lose power before it arrives.

Your final legacy is determined not only by the state of the republic, but also by the history of your actions. You may be remembered as an architect of peace, a constitutional reformer, or the president of a stable republic. Your term may also end in economic collapse, international isolation, a cabinet revolt, or catastrophe.

After the presidency ends, the game creates a detailed report covering final indicators, laws, evidence, broken promises, cabinet loyalty, international relations, achievements, and key decisions.

Playtime

A complete 48-month term usually takes 2–4 hours, depending on how carefully you read documents and study the political archive. A systemic crisis may end the presidency earlier.

The game is designed for repeated playthroughs, testing different political principles, and discovering consequences that went unnoticed during a previous term.
