「We'd like to shape Crypto Market Rivals with the people playing it. Early Access gives us room to improve the balance, guidance, accessibility and variety while you explore the game and tell us what feels good.」

「We currently expect Early Access to last around 12 months. That estimate may change as development and player feedback guide the work.」

「You can play Market Universe, Solo Lab, Time Machine and Wild Mode, grow a local career, and review your trades. The current Steam build is offline single-player, with local saves and exports. Cloud saves, Steam achievements and online multiplayer are not included.」

Welcome to Crypto Market Rivals


Pull up a chair and try your hand at the market. Start with $100,000 in simulated funds, find a trading style that suits you, and see where your decisions take you. A rough run isn't the end of the story. There's always another approach to try.

Crypto Market Rivals is a single-player trading game with roguelite campaigns and lasting progression. No real money is traded.

Find your way to play

  • Market Universe: Explore 150 cryptocurrencies and 50 stocks in a simulated market.
  • Solo Lab: Learn the basics, adjust the difficulty, pause when you need a moment, and try a different plan.
  • Time Machine: Choose a historical episode and trade forward from your starting point.
  • Wild Mode: Choose upgrades, meet fictional rival desks, and work through changing market conditions toward the closing bell.

Make the next run yours


Grow your Rival Rank, follow Market Paths, collect cosmetic themes and keep your favourite moments in the Field Journal. Session Review helps you look back at your trades and decide what to try next. Daily challenges and replayable cases offer a starting point when you fancy something different.

Pause offline practice, adjust text size and sound, and play at your own pace. Local friend result codes let you compare unranked runs.

Before you start


Offline play needs no game account. Saves stay on your computer; back up a valued career before updating. Cloud saves, Steam achievements and online multiplayer are not included in the current Steam build.

All trades use simulated funds. Time Machine uses historical price references; other modes use generated prices. This is a game, not financial advice. Balances and rewards have no cash value.

The game is in development. We'd love to hear what you enjoy and what could be clearer.
