What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Everyone Will Die is still in active development, with new features and content planned throughout Early Access. We want to involve players while these systems are still evolving, so their feedback can meaningfully influence the game’s direction. We will use Early Access to expand the available content, improve existing gameplay systems, refine balance and usability, and determine which areas most need additional development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 10 months. This estimate may change depending on the scope of new features, development progress, and the feedback we receive from players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to refine and expand historical siege content, improve enemy AI and scenario balance, polish city-management and expedition systems, strengthen cooperative stability, and complete usability and localization work. Priorities will respond to player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A playable demo is ready, featuring the Tyre opening and core siege-survival systems. The current focus is tutorial polish, balance and stability. Four-player shared-town co-op with chat is targeted for Early Access launch. Additional scenarios are in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not currently planning to change the price when the game leaves Early Access. If this plan changes during development, we will communicate it to players in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Gather feedback through Steam discussions, reviews, bug reports and Discord. Share development updates and use reports to prioritize siege balance, onboarding, cooperative stability, performance and additional content.”

About This Game

Everyone Will Die is a dark medieval survival and tower defense strategy game about defending a city that cannot be saved.

Tyre, 1187. After the disaster at Hattin, Conrad of Montferrat must defend the city against Saladin. The city is full of refugees and exhausted survivors, and the harbour is under threat.

An overwhelming enemy surrounds your walls. Supplies are running out. Weapons are limited.

Your population cannot simply be replaced. Every soldier lost, every building destroyed and every resource consumed brings the city one step closer to its inevitable end.

Your goal is to survive for as long as you can and perhaps change history.

HOW FAR WILL YOU GO?

How much of your humanity are you willing to sacrifice just to survive another day?

  • Slaughter horses, dogs, and other animals to feed the starving garrison.
  • Strip the dead of anything useful. Melt down sacred treasures. Take from the wealthy when there is nothing left to tax.
  • When soldiers become too few, arm the old. Arm the young. Send anyone still able to stand to the walls.
  • Some choices can never be undone. Siege Council decrees trade short-term relief for lasting consequences.

Every desperate measure buys you more time. Each one takes something from your people they will never get back, and asks how much of your conscience you can spare.

TEAR DOWN YOUR OWN CITY

The city itself is a resource, and you will find that it is finite. When the stockpiles run dry, survival always comes at a cost.

Dismantle houses for timber. Tear apart buildings for stone and other materials. Sacrifice parts of the city you once protected to reinforce the parts that still matter. Every solution creates another problem.

MANAGE A CITY UNDER SIEGE

Food, weapons, manpower, and building materials are scarce, and as the assaults keep coming, every choice you make shapes the city of tomorrow.

Your soldiers will grow exhausted. Disease will spread. Corpses will fill the streets. Happiness will collapse as the population realizes that there may be no rescue coming.

After every assault, recover and treat the survivors. Each one you save is a defender you won't have to replace.

DEFEND THE WALLS

Build and reinforce walls, towers, gates, and defensive positions as increasingly powerful enemy forces assault the city.

Command your troops directly in real-time battles and decide where your dwindling forces are needed most. A defense that works today may collapse under tomorrow's assault.

VENTURE BEYOND THE WALLS, IF YOU DARE

The enemy controls the land around you, but staying behind the walls may be just as deadly.

Send forces beyond the city to raid, scavenge, trade and search for desperately needed supplies. Every expedition risks soldiers you may never be able to replace.

The world outside the walls will continue to move while your city slowly dies.

HOLD THE WALLS TOGETHER

Online co-op for up to four players defending the same town against AI attackers, with in-game chat to coordinate the defense.

SURVIVE THE INEVITABLE

You will find that there is no perfect solution.

Save food now and your soldiers may starve later. Tear down homes, and your people lose shelter. Sacrifice cavalry for meat and you lose your horses forever. Preserve your principles, and you may lose the city faster.

Every decision buys time.

Every decision has a cost.

And no matter how long you survive...

Everyone Will Die.
