What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Everyone Will Die is still in active development, with new features and content planned throughout Early Access. We want to involve players while these systems are still evolving, so their feedback can meaningfully influence the game’s direction. We will use Early Access to expand the available content, improve existing gameplay systems, refine balance and usability, and determine which areas most need additional development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 10 months. This estimate may change depending on the scope of new features, development progress, and the feedback we receive from players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to offer a broader and more complete strategy experience. Planned development includes additional playable nations, units, campaign content, events, and other gameplay features. We also plan to further develop the AI, diplomacy, trade, economy, city management, and real-time battle systems.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is playable and includes the core campaign and sandbox strategy experience. Players can manage their realm on the world map, develop cities, recruit and command armies, A limited selection of nations is currently playable, with additional nations and content planned during Early Access. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not currently planning to change the price when the game leaves Early Access. If this plan changes during development, we will communicate it to players in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of development throughout Early Access. We plan to actively follow Steam discussions, reviews, suggestions, and bug reports. Player feedback will help us prioritize new nations and features, identify systems that need redesigning or expanding, improve balance and usability, and decide where additional content is most needed.”

About This Game

Everyone Will Die is a dark medieval survival strategy game about defending a city that cannot be saved forever.

An overwhelming enemy surrounds your walls. Supplies are running out. Weapons are limited. Your population cannot simply be replaced. Every soldier lost, every building destroyed, and every resource consumed brings the city one step closer to its inevitable end.

Your goal is not to win the war.

Your goal is to survive for as long as you can.

DEFEND THE CITY

Build and reinforce walls, towers, gates and defensive positions as increasingly powerful enemy forces assault the city.

Command your troops directly in real-time battles and decide where your dwindling forces are needed most. A defense that works today may collapse under tomorrow`s assault.

TEAR DOWN YOUR OWN CITY

When the stockpiles run dry, survival comes at a cost.

Dismantle houses for timber. Tear apart buildings for stone and other materials. Sacrifice parts of the city you once protected to reinforce the parts that still matter.

Every solution creates another problem.

EVERY LIFE MATTERS

Your population is finite.

The people inside the walls are your workers, builders, soldiers and last source of manpower. Lose too many and entire parts of your city`s economy and defenses can begin to collapse.

You cannot simply recruit an endless new army.

LIMITED WEAPONS. LIMITED SUPPLIES.

Swords, bows, armor, food and construction materials are not infinite.

Equipment lost in battle matters. Supplies consumed today may be desperately needed tomorrow. Deciding who gets armed, what gets repaired and what can be sacrificed becomes increasingly important as the siege continues.

SALLY BEYOND THE WALLS

The enemy is not your only source of danger - it may also be your only remaining source of supplies.

During brief breaks in the siege, send troops outside the city to raid, scavenge and recover desperately needed weapons and resources.

Every expedition weakens your defenses while your soldiers are away.

MAKE IMPOSSIBLE CHOICES

As conditions worsen, comfortable solutions disappear.

Preserve homes or dismantle them for defenses. Feed civilians or reserve supplies for soldiers. Risk precious troops outside the walls or remain behind fortifications and slowly exhaust what remains.

The city changes physically as your decisions consume it.

What begins as a functioning medieval settlement gradually becomes a fortress built from its own ruins.

EVERYONE WILL DIE

There is no endless expansion and no safe late game.

The siege becomes harder. Your resources disappear. Your city shrinks. Your people die.

Eventually, the walls will fall.

The only question is how long you can make them hold.
