A pure dark fantasy tower defense game where Light is both your life and your most precious resource. Build and specialize diverse towers, exploit enemy weaknesses, and customize the risk and reward of each level—taking on greater dangers for greater rewards.

• Pure Tower Defense: Build your strategy around towers, positioning, upgrades, resource management, and enemy counters. Dark Tower Defense embraces traditional tower defense gameplay rather than blending it with action, shooter, or character-control mechanics.

• Risk vs. Reward: Customize the difficulty of levels before entering battle. Play it safe, or take on additional dangers and modifiers in exchange for greater rewards. How far you push a level is up to you.

• Specialize Your Towers: Develop towers through multiple specializations, allowing the same tower to fulfill different strategic roles. Shape your defenses around the enemies, environment, and challenges you choose to face.

• Exploit Strengths and Weaknesses: Damage types, resistances, status effects, and unique enemy abilities make the right tower as important as the strongest tower. Adapt your strategy as new threats challenge defenses that worked before.

• Choose Your Path: Progress across a nonlinear world map where completing levels opens new routes forward. Decide which challenges to tackle next rather than following a single predetermined path.

• Build for the Endgame: Continue developing your strategy through an endgame passive bonus tree, unlocking bonuses that let you further shape how you approach increasingly difficult challenges.

• Protect Your Light: Light is more than currency—it is your lifeline against the darkness. Spend it to strengthen your defenses, but manage it carefully: when your Light dies, so do you.
