About This Content

Begin again, and keep what you earned.

Every builder has that island. The one where you learned how the game works by getting it wrong — the quarry in the wrong bay, the workshops that never met, the whole shape of a town you can see is a mistake now that you finally understand it.

Keepshore lets you restart that island. It has always let you keep your climb: your level, your perks, your kingdom's whole history. But it takes your goods back — the stockpile resets to what you first arrived with, and everything your town produced is simply gone.

The Forgiveness Seal is the waiver. Restart the island, and every resource and every coin you earned sails with you.

The game tells you before you commit. Own the seal, and the warning that used to say "your resources will be lost" says this instead.

Everything. Not a share of it.

Not a percentage. Not a cap. Not "the first ten types". When the boats push off, the whole storehouse goes aboard — every grain sack, every ingot, every bolt of cloth, every coin in the treasury — and it is all sitting there waiting when you make landfall.

The same storehouse, before and after. A different island underneath it.

It waives a loss. It never mints a coin.

This is the part that matters, and it is worth being exact about: you finish the restart holding precisely what you held one moment earlier — not one unit more. Nothing is created. No rate changes. No cycle shortens. No timer moves.

A restart without the seal subtracts. A restart with it subtracts nothing. Neither one ever adds.

And a restart still costs you the island

This is a do-over, not a free reroll, and the price stays real. When you restart you still lose:

  • Every building you raised — with its levels, its mastery stars, its tune-ups and its Mastery Path

  • Every district you named, every landmark you found, every Wonder you commissioned

  • The land itself — a brand-new coastline is generated from scratch

  • The wait — the restart cooldown is untouched, and no seal will ever shorten it

The seal buys back the goods. It buys back nothing else.

Your island stays your island

A restart deliberately keeps this island's Character and Calling — the trait that makes it a Trade Winds coast or a Woodland Calling. Only the terrain and the climate you pick are new.

That is a fence, not an oversight: it means the seal can never be farmed into a slot machine for a better island trait. You are redoing this shore, not shopping for a different one.

Retrain your Focus, free, forever

The second forgiveness. Your Specialist Focus is a fixed budget of ranks, and once it is spent the tree stops selling you notables — that is the forced-specialisation rule, and it stays. You can already retrain it, but the price escalates every single time until it is a wall rather than a decision.

For a seal holder that price is zero, permanently. Re-spend your Focus as often as you like, whenever your kingdom's shape stops fitting your plans.

It does not make the tree bigger. The budget is exactly what it always was — you still can never reach half the tree, and you still have to choose. It only makes the choice a living one instead of a guess you made at hour three and pay for at hour ninety.

What it never touches

  • No production bonus, no coin bonus, no rate of any kind. It is booked at zero on the published Benefit Ledger

  • The Nightwatch is untouched — its window, its taper and its rate are not for sale in any form, at any price, ever

  • It cannot buy your way through the ages. Advancement is gated by real-day maturity and your Settlement Charter's daily objectives

  • Tribute is untouched. What your frozen islands send home is byte-for-byte identical

  • It never enlarges the perk tree, and it never advances a progression counter

In short

  • Restart any island and keep every resource and coin you had earned

  • The whole storehouse, verbatim — not a share, not a cap

  • Retrain your Specialist Focus free, forever — without making the tree any bigger

  • Mints nothing: a waived loss, never a faucet

  • Your island keeps its Character — no rerolling for a better one

  • One-time purchase, across your whole realm, forever

The island was the mistake. Not the work you put into it.
