You start with a pocket of cash and a lot full of rust. Pick a junker, drag it into your bay, and bring it back from the dead one bolt at a time — pull the worn carb, bolt on a four-barrel, swap the cam, fit headers, drop in a transmission, and breathe on the intake until the old engine wakes up.

Then take it to the strip and find out what it's worth.

WRENCH ON A REAL ENGINE. The garage isn't a menu — it's a workbench. Loosen each bolt, lift the old part off, seat the new one, and watch the engine bay change as you build. Carburetors, manifolds, headers, cams, transmissions — every part has a feel, a tier, and a trade-off. Tune your timing, gearing, and launch RPM to find the sweet spot, and shed weight to a safe floor for a quicker ET.

RACE FOR CASH — OR FOR KEEPS. Size up your opponent before you lay money down. Each rival is a character with their own car, driving style, and tells — read their racer permit, weigh the odds, and pick your wager. Run for pocket change, run for the big purse, or put your PINK SLIP on the line and drive home in their car.

NO TWO RUNS ARE THE SAME. Launch quality, traction, tire wear, and weather all swing the result. Fit the right rubber for today's track (dry, damp, or wet) — grip is everything off the line.

CLIMB THE LADDER. Start with parking-lot street kids and work up through the back-lot bangers, strip regulars, and outlaw pros to dethrone the King of the Strip. Build your reputation to unlock tougher classes and better parts — and watch for the nitro legends who occasionally pull up in something ridiculous.

BET ON THE ACTION. Not feeling like racing? Post up in the Stands and bet on other drivers, or earn your way into the invite-only Pro Shop for exclusive hardware and premium fuel.
