NOWHERE is a mystery investigation adventure that combines a compelling cast of characters with the logical satisfaction of a classic detective story.

You play as Kim Yoohan, a former private detective gifted—or cursed—with “Absolute Memory,” the ability to remember everything he has ever seen.

Observe people’s clothing and behavior, examine key phrases in their statements, and deduce the intentions they are trying to conceal. When a theory proves wrong, return to the evidence, reconsider the facts, and revise your hypothesis.

The case never changes. Only your hypothesis does.

About the Demo

This demo covers the prologue and opening of Chapter 1, taking you from Kim Yoohan’s childhood to the beginning of the convenience store murder case.

As a child with nowhere to go, Yoohan is taken in by a private detective and discovers what it means to have a family for the first time. But his “Absolute Memory”—his inability to forget anything he has ever seen—also preserves an incident he will spend the rest of his life trying to escape.

Years later, Yoohan runs a rundown detective agency with Lee Sooyeon, struggling to survive from one day to the next. With three months of unpaid rent, no new cases, and even a broken washing machine, their lives have reached a dead end.

Then Kang Hyejeong of the Capital Southern Police Agency arrives with an unexpected offer:

Join the police and cooperate with their investigations.

The morning after accepting her offer, Yoohan stops by a convenience store to buy breakfast—only to discover a gruesome corpse inside.

The victim’s face and wounds. The marks left on their clothing. The objects scattered across the scene.

Clues that refuse to fit together begin to distort what first appeared to be a straightforward murder.

• Observation and Deduction

  Closely examine each person’s clothing, belongings, expressions, and reactions. Even the smallest detail may reveal the motive they are trying to conceal.

• Expose Contradictions in Testimony

  Select suspicious phrases from conversations and present the most plausible deduction based on what you have observed. Even a mistaken theory can reveal a new possibility. Abandon failed assumptions and work your way toward a more accurate conclusion.

• Crime Scene Investigation

  Examine bodies and their surroundings to collect evidence. The meaning of a crime scene changes depending on what you investigate first—and which clues you choose to connect.

• Absolute Memory

  Yoohan never forgets anything he has seen. Conversations that passed unnoticed and seemingly insignificant details remain perfectly preserved in his mind. Revisit buried memories and connect them to contradictions in the present.

Characters

• Kim Yoohan

  A former private detective with “Absolute Memory,” the ability to remember everything he has ever seen. Willing to use any means necessary, he is unexpectedly drawn into a police investigation.Kang Hyejung: An elite team leader who values principles above all else.

• Lee Sooyeon

  Yoohan’s only family and his assistant at the detective agency. Although she constantly worries about his reckless behavior, she remains the person who supports him more closely than anyone else.

• Kang Hyejeong

  An elite officer of the Capital Southern Police Agency who values principles and results. Using an offer Yoohan cannot easily refuse, she draws him into the Public–Private Joint Special Investigation Unit.
