About Oscar Araujo

Oscar Araujo is one of Spain’s most internationally acclaimed video game composers. He is best known for composing the music of Konami’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow saga—including the original game, produced in collaboration with Hideo Kojima—as well as Blades of Fire, developed by MercurySteam and published by 505 Games.

His work spans video games, films and major international advertising campaigns, combining orchestral composition, electronic music and cinematic storytelling.

Araujo’s work has received major industry recognition, including the IFMCA Award for Best Original Score for a Video Game or Interactive Media for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the 2025 Jerry Goldsmith Award for Best Video Game Score for Blades of Fire.
