About This Game

Everything on this screen wants to shoot you, and you did not bring a gun.

What you have is a blade, a parry window measured in frames, and the fact

that a reflected bullet hits a lot harder than an original one.

[b]LIGHTBLADE[/b] is a compact arcade survival game built around one action.

Point the blade. Hit the button at the right moment. The shot that was about

to kill you becomes the shot that clears the arena.

[h2]The loop[/h2]

[*][b]Parry, don't dodge.[/b] You cannot move. You can only turn, and you can

only defend. Every threat has to be answered, not avoided.

[*][b]Reflected fire is your only damage.[/b] Nothing you do kills an enemy

directly. Every kill on your scoreboard came out of an enemy's own gun.

[*][b]Perfect timing pays double.[/b] Catch a shot in the first frames of the

window and time stretches, the screen flares, and your combo climbs faster.

[*][b]Burst clears the board.[/b] Bank enough energy from clean parries and

one keypress reflects every bullet on screen at once.

[*][b]Rushers[/b] — they don't shoot. They come for the core.

[*][b]Splitters[/b] — kill one carelessly and it scatters on the way out.

[*][b]Wardens[/b] — every fifth wave, a boss with three attack patterns and

enough health that you'll have to parry your way through all of them.

[h2]Built to be replayed, not finished[/h2]

Waves are endless and scale continuously — there is no ending screen to reach,

only a number to beat. Runs are short. Deaths are your fault and you will know

exactly why. The full stat readout after every run tells you how many parries

landed, how many were perfect, and where the combo broke.

No tutorial pop-ups, no unlocks gating the good stuff, no launcher, no account.

Click and you're in the arena within two seconds. Full controller support,

remappable-free single-button design, and a mute key that actually works.

[h2]Honest scope[/h2]

This is a focused arcade game, not a 40-hour epic. If you want a leaderboard

chase you can pick up for ten minutes at a time and get visibly better at,

that's exactly what this is. If you want story, crafting, or an open world,

this isn't it.
