Build factories inside factories. Extract shapes, automate production, and deliver increasingly complex designs to the Hub. Enter a Nest to build its machinery, reuse it as a single building, then fit smaller Nests inside larger ones to take your factory further. About this game

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“HOLON already delivers a functional, fully playable nested factory experience, but our broader vision for the project is still evolving. We chose Early Access because community feedback is essential for balancing complex automation systems, expanding tech progression, and optimizing engine performance for massive builds. We are committed to active development, regular content updates, and working closely with our players to refine the core tools and see HOLON through to a complete 1.0 release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for about 12–24 months. That depends on how the game holds up at scale and what players need next. We will not lock a 1.0 date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to grow what you can already do: more hub goals and shapes, more machines and belts, deeper nesting, better copy/blueprint tools. We also plan more polish on the tutorial, UI, and QoL. Early Access is the core loop. We plan for 1.0 to be that loop, finished and filled out .”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You can extract, belt, join, rotate, and fold working lines into nests, then stamp those nests. There is a guided tutorial, a hub with a limited goal set, production stats, and large factories already run. Some late-game content, upgrades, and tools are still missing or rough. Expect bugs, balance changes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We dont plan to raise the price as we add content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Play, break it, and tell us. We watch Steam discussions, and Discord is the fast loop for bugs, factory screenshots, and what to build next. We plan to ship updates from that feedback, and to say what changed in the notes.”

About This Game

HOLON is a factory building game where an entire production line can become a single building inside your next factory.

Extract shapes from the world and carry them along conveyors to the Hub. Each completed order brings new tools and more demanding shapes to produce. Making the right shape is only the beginning. Next comes making more of it.

Your processing machinery lives inside Nests, small factories you can enter and build yourself. Connect their inputs and outputs, then arrange machines to stack, rotate, cut, and paint shapes. Step outside and watch your Nest work as one part of a larger production line.

Once a design works, save it and use it again. Unlock larger Nests and place smaller ones inside them, combining familiar designs into increasingly capable factories. A compact building on the surface can contain layers of machinery working together underneath.

Expand across an endless map to reach new resources, or build deeper to fit more production into the space you already have. Connect productive areas with Energizer towers to boost your machinery, and extend that boost toward distant resource patches with relays.

There is no combat or deadline. Take your time experimenting, untangling bottlenecks, and finding a better layout. Every new order is a reason to rethink what your factory can do.
