About This Demo

Rain of Lead is a dieselpunk 2D side-scrolling action shooter. Inspired by games such as Katana ZERO, Door Kickers: Action Squad, and Deadbolt, the game creates a hardcore aesthetic of one-hit kills through fast-paced, fluid combat and brutal executions.

Switch between sword and pistol to strike through enemy lines, moving between artillery fire and overwhelming forces. Amid this merciless race between life and death, uncover the truth buried within this dark world.

A Choice Between Love and Conscience

Your memories have faded in slumber. When you awaken, only emptiness remains. A queen who claims to be your wife asks you to raise your blade for her. Will you stand with her until the very end?

Brutal High-Speed Combat

Both you and your enemies die in a single hit, with no room for error. Switch between sword and pistol to tear through soldiers, artillery pieces, tanks — and even destroy an entire army.

Two Sides of the Truth

The game uses a dual-layer narrative. You can help your wife destroy every enemy and reclaim the throne, or gather information, connect the clues hidden in enemy and ally dialogue, and gradually uncover the truth behind the world.

A Dieselpunk World Reimagined

Control a Chinese wuxia heroine and experience an alternate British dieselpunk world. Cross palaces, fortresses, and factories as you fight against different kinds of enemies.
