Sails of Salt is an atmospheric pirate roguelite about a short, dangerous career at sea, and the legend it leaves behind. Sail out to raid, hunt and explore. Die, and you lose everything you haven't secured. Come home instead, and your legend grows for the captain who sails next.

• Real-time broadsides. Aim by feel in the chase, or hold to line up a precision shot. Target the hull, the rigging or the deck, and let the swell decide your aim.

• Recruit and train your crew. Every hand starts as a nobody. Turn them into officers who carry your ship's fights and your line's story.

• Refit your ship. Salvage blueprints, install new hulls and rigs, and turn plunder into a faster, harder, deadlier ship.

• Build a fleet. Capture enemy ships instead of sinking them, and sail out with company at your back.

• Hunt down your crew's legends. Your flagship was taken and its founding crew scattered in chains. Track the rumors, storm the fortresses, bring them home.

• A living sea. Take contracts, chase rumors and make hard calls at every landfall, in a world that expands the further you dare to sail.

• A hidden haven. Bank your plunder in a pirate cove hidden inside a live volcano, and build it up between voyages.
