What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“TimbrianGuard has been in development since 2018.

TimbrianGuard combines detailed, block-by-block building with colony management and survival. Early Access will let us refine how those systems work together with players: which building tools feel useful, how clearly settlers carry out their work, and how the challenge develops as a colony grows. Player feedback will help us prioritize improvements to usability, balance, performance, and stability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate 3–12 months in Early Access after the paid Early Access launch. This is an estimate, not a fixed deadline. The duration may change as we develop the game, address player feedback, and evaluate its stability and progression.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to deepen colony management and survival progression beyond the opening camp, expand the options for growing settlements and outposts, and refine the building tools. Development during Early Access will also focus on balance, usability, performance, and stability, guided by player feedback. These are development goals; the scope may change as we test and iterate.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The paid Early Access version has not launched yet. The free public demo is available now on Windows PC and is single-player.

The demo includes the first three full in-game days of Survival with eight starting settlers, gathering, crafting, camp building, work assignments, and preparation for nighttime threats. It also includes an unlimited sandbox mode with terrain shaping, detailed building tools, and blueprint sharing.

The demo shows the current foundation of the game. We will update this section with the exact contents of the paid build before Early Access launches.

Online co-op is planned for the first paid Early Access release. LAN co-op and PvP are planned for later updates and are not included in the public demo.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price when the full version is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can share feedback, bug reports, and builds through our Discord community and Steam discussions. We use those reports and conversations to identify problems, discuss suggestions, and prioritize development. We also share development updates and release notes on Steam.”

About This Game

Build their home. Help them survive.

TimbrianGuard is an open world colony survival game. Start with eight settlers, turn gathered supplies into a working camp, and build a place your people can call home.

From sticks and stones to a settlement

Assign roles, gather resources, make tools, and put your settlers to work. Decide what your camp needs next as you prepare for the dangers that arrive after dark.

Build block by block

Shape the terrain and use detailed sub-voxel building tools to give your settlement its own character. In Sandbox, experiment freely and create blueprints to share.

Play the free public demo

The demo is available now on Windows PC and is single-player.
  • Survival: Guide eight starting settlers through the first three full in-game days. Day-by-day goals introduce gathering, tools, camp building, and preparation for the night.
  • Sandbox: Build without a time limit. Shape the land, try the building tools, and create and share blueprints.

The demo introduces the opening of your colony. The full game and Early Access are still coming soon.

TimbrianGuard was previously called Satus; some older videos use that name.
