A typing roguelike where your keyboard is the weapon. Words close in on your core and typing them is the only defense. Clear rounds, buy relics, enchant single keys, and snowball a build that turns clean typing into an avalanche of score.

À propos de ce jeu

Typesmith is a typing roguelike where your keyboard is the weapon.

Words spawn at the edge of the arena and close in on your core. Type a word to destroy it. Miss a key and you lose ground on it. Let a word touch the core and the run is over. That is the entire combat system, and everything else in the game exists to make it faster, louder, and more satisfying with every round.

Build a run out of upgrades

Hit the score target, clear the round, and step into the shop. Spend what you earned on relics that bend the rules, upgrades to individual keys so your most-used letters hit harder, and synergies that stack until a build snowballs. In the first rounds you read every word. By the end of a good run you are clearing the screen on reflex.

Some words fight back

Gilded words pay triple. Shielded words have to be typed twice. Volatile words burn on a fuse instead of waiting to arrive. And every round, one word carries a bounty worth hunting ahead of everything else. Reading the board is half the skill. Choosing which word deserves your hands next is the other half.

The shop is typing too

Buying, selling, rerolling, continuing: all of it is typed. You never reach for the mouse. A run in Typesmith is one continuous typing flow from the first word to the last.

Win the round the moment you win it

Every round demands a score. Hit it and the round ends on the spot, with the clock you did not need paid out as coins. Fast hands finish early. Careful hands use the whole clock. Nobody waits around.

Roguelike bones

  • Runs of twelve rounds, with boss rounds waiting at the milestones
  • Score targets that climb every round, so your build has to keep up
  • Streaks that reward accuracy, with a knockback (not a full reset) when you miss
  • Every keystroke plays a note, and a clean word resolves like a short melody

Get faster without noticing

Typesmith is a roguelike first. But it rewards speed and accuracy above everything else, and it builds every round against your measured typing speed, so every run is also practice. Whether you type at 40 words per minute or 120, you will feel yourself getting faster without ever opening a typing tutor.
