About This Demo

Spell Cards aren’t drawn from a deck. They’re ingredients you combine into new magic.

Discover powerful spells through different recipes, then wield your creations as you climb the Tower of Starlight.

Ray came to the tower for one reason to bring her missing mother home. But when she was caught in the tower’s magic, most of the power she carried was scattered. Now she must recover her lost magic as she climbs.

  • Recover Your Scattered Magic

Collect basic elemental Spell Cards as you climb the tower. Combine two cards through different

recipes to discover new magic, ranging from simple tactical tools to powerful spells.

Spell Cards are not a combat deck that gets shuffled before every battle. They are ingredients used

to create stronger magic. The first time you combine a spell, it is recorded in your Spell Library.

Review its recipe, gather the right materials during a future expedition, and craft the spell again

when you need it.

  • Fight with Four Elements

Build Burn with Ember and overwhelm your enemies. Recover and disrupt the enemy’s plans with Aqua.

Endure incoming attacks and strike back with Terra, or build Echo with Gust to unleash repeated

damage.

Combine elements, read enemy intents, and manage your Action Points, HP, and MP. With limited Action

Points each turn, decide whether to attack, defend, craft a spell, use a consumable, or meditate.

  • Find Your Own Way Up the Tower

Choose your next destination along paths filled with battles, elite encounters, events, shops, rest

sites, Card Sanctuaries, treasure chests, and bosses.

Collect relics and consumables, rearrange your active and reserve spells for the situation ahead,

and prepare for the next battle. Even the same path can demand a different solution depending on the

spells, relics, and choices you discover.

  • Growth That Remains Between Expeditions

When you complete an expedition, combine the Spell Cards you earn to discover spells that remain

recorded in your Spell Library. Use the Memory Shards gathered during your expeditions to strengthen

Ray, and work with Sally to expand the support and starting choices available on future attempts.

Return to the Wanderers’ Garden, meet the people gathered there, and prepare a new strategy before

entering the tower again.

  • Confront the Memories Left in the Tower

People say the Tower of Starlight reveals what has been lost.

In Ray’s memories, her mother was endlessly kind. Ray climbs with only the belief that her mother is

somewhere inside the tower. But the higher she goes, the traces she discovers begin to point toward

a truth that conflicts with her warm memories of childhood.
