ABOUT THIS GAME

FOUR WAYS TO RUN FOOTBALL

Most football management games put you in one job.

DOMFC gives you four.

FIRST TEAM MANAGER

Manage the football.

Pick the squad.

Set tactics.

Run training.

Develop players.

Build your staff.

Handle the dressing room and press.

Win matches.

Keep your job.

You are responsible for what happens on the pitch, but you do not control everything above you.

The board has its priorities.

The director has theirs.

The owner has theirs.

Your job is to win within the club they give you.

CLUB DIRECTOR

Build the sporting operation.

Hire and fire managers.

Control recruitment.

Negotiate transfers and contracts.

Build scouting networks.

Develop the academy.

Recruit football staff.

Set budgets and long-term sporting priorities.

Your manager decides how the team plays.

You decide what kind of football operation they inherit.

Build a structure that survives individual managers, players, and seasons.

CLUB OWNER

Run the institution.

Control investment.

Set financial priorities.

Hire senior leadership.

Approve major spending.

Develop facilities.

Shape the club's long-term direction.

Deal with financial pressure, boardroom decisions, supporters, reputation, and the consequences of ownership.

You can build a dynasty.

You can bleed a club dry.

You can chase trophies at any cost.

Or you can try to build something that lasts.

The club is yours.

So are the consequences.

FEDERATION EXECUTIVE

Govern football itself.

Run a national football federation.

Oversee the wider football system.

Manage international football.

Appoint leadership.

Shape development priorities.

Deal with clubs, leagues, officials, governments, and other football institutions.

Manage federation finances.

Respond to scandals and crises.

Navigate political pressure.

Handle disputes.

Balance sporting success against institutional stability.

International football in DOMFC is not simply a national-team selection screen between tournaments.

You are running the organization behind it.

FOOTBALL IS MORE THAN MATCHES

DOMFC simulates football as a sporting, financial, social, and political system.

The problems you face depend on the authority you actually have.

A manager may want a player the director refuses to buy.

A director may build a long-term plan an owner destroys.

An owner may have enormous power inside a club but little power over the federation governing it.

A Federation Executive may control national policy while facing governments, leagues, clubs, officials, supporters, and competing interests.

You will not always get what you want.

That is part of the game.

INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL IS POLITICAL

International football carries its own pressures.

Federations operate inside governments, economies, cultures, rivalries, regulations, and international institutions.

Depending on the systems active in your save, federation and international football can involve:

  • Government interference

  • Political pressure

  • Federation leadership struggles

  • Corruption allegations

  • Financial disputes

  • International sanctions

  • Eligibility disputes

  • Hosting controversies

  • Security problems

  • Discrimination

  • Supporter unrest

  • Institutional scandals

  • Diplomatic tensions

  • Governance failures

  • Conflicts between clubs, leagues, and federations

  • Pressure surrounding major competitions

A federation can win on the pitch and still fail everywhere else.

A decision made today can shape the football system years later.

CHOOSE YOUR CAREER

DOMFC is not built around one definition of football management.

Want the traditional challenge?

Become a First Team Manager.

Want to build squads, recruitment systems, academies, and sporting departments?

Become a Club Director.

Want control over money, leadership, investment, and the future of an entire club?

Become a Club Owner.

Want to deal with international football, institutions, governance, and politics?

Become a Federation Executive.

Play the part of football you care about.

ONE WORLD. DIFFERENT POWER.

Every role exists inside the same simulated football world.

Players develop.

Managers get hired and fired.

Clubs rise and fall.

Money moves.

Competitions continue.

People change careers.

Institutions make decisions.

Political and social events can reshape the environment around the game.

Your perspective changes.

The world does not.

PEOPLE HAVE CAREERS

Players and staff are not temporary database entries.

A young player can become a club legend.

A former player can become a coach.

A coach can become a manager.

A manager can become an executive.

People develop careers, reputations, histories, relationships with clubs, and consequences from what happens around them.

The longer you play, the more the world becomes its own history.

  • Transfers

  • Loans

  • Club finances

  • Sponsorship

  • Women's football

Your authority depends on your job.

You may control a system directly.

You may influence it.

Or somebody above you may tell you no.

FOOTBALL CAN GO WRONG

Football does not exist outside society.

Optional simulation systems can include:

  • Mental health

  • Gambling

  • Crime

  • Match fixing

  • Corruption

  • Fan violence

  • Discrimination

  • Political interference

  • Personal and family events

  • Serious injuries

  • Death

  • Institutional crises

These systems exist to create consequences inside long careers and football institutions.
