About This Demo

Building Codes Are More of a Suggestion

Shady Contractor is a physics-based construction puzzler for people who can't stop sorting blocks in their head. It's like if Jenga and Tetris had a baby, then that baby asked you for $20.

Looks Good From My House.

Every job comes with a blueprint. Get close enough to pass inspection, or nail it for a fat quality bonus. 95% accuracy feels incredible. 100% is a legend nobody has seen. Anything less? Hey, it looks good from my house.

Greed Is a Load-Bearing Wall

Rush the build for a time bonus. Skimp on materials. Take the skyscraper job you're definitely not ready for. Every shortcut pays more, until something falls off the site. Then OSHA shuts you down, and maybe your client will still throw you some money for whatever's left.

Hire a Questionable Crew

Recruit specialists who negotiate bigger payouts, clean up your "creative interpretations" of the blueprint, and scout better contracts. Buy new blueprints to unlock riskier, richer jobs. And if business goes south? Don't worry. You're too shady to fail.
