Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'd like to release into Early Access as Co-op games are shaped by the people playing them. I can balance things in theory and on paper, but it's difficult to predict what a group of friends will discover when playing over a period of time. Early Access would put the game in front of real players so I can tune it against how it's played rather than how I imagined it, add the things players ask for, and fix the things that might be reported as broken. The game is finished and stable today but Early Access adds additional feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Up to a year, but hopefully less. The game is already playable start to finish, so the length of Early Access comes down to how much feedback arrives and how far it points. If players are happy with where it lands, it's possible to leave Early Access quicker.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The foundations of the game are already set. The modes, classes and progression you play in Early Access are the ones the finished game is built on. What the full version will add is additional feedback on top, more to unlock, additional daily quests, QOL changes, and a balancing driven by what people report. If the community wants something that fits the game, it's on the table.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Everything in ZedFall is playable right now, there are 3 full modes to play which are all multiplayer ready and each contain a difficulty rating to choose from. Between runs there's a shared Base Camp with a shop, daily quests, permanent character upgrades, cosmetics to unlock and fishing. Achievements have also been added onto Steam.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There are no plans to change the price of the game once it comes out of Early Access. Buying in early gets you the same game for the same money, plus everything added along the way.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am open to community feedback to adjust, balance and overall improve the game whenever possible if it makes sense. The game was built to be played with friends so anything that can be added to improve the overall quality of the game is welcomed.”

About This Game

ZedFall: Outbreak is a fast‑paced co‑op wave survival shooter with twin‑stick controls, evolving upgrade cards, and roguelite progression. Fight through numerous undead swarms, build powerful class combinations, and hold out long enough for extraction. There are 3 main game modes to play; Wave Survival, Tower Defence, Scavenge. Each game mode offers a different objective and gameplay experience.

The infected keep coming, and every run can push you to your limits but the world must go on. Choose your class, level up, stack evolving upgrade cards and create character builds that can turn the battlefield into chaos. Whether you’re fighting for the chopper, defending a generator against overwhelming numbers or scavenging supplies, teamwork keeps you alive… until it doesn’t.

Play solo or bring friends, ZedFall: Outbreak supports up to 8 players with co‑op action.

Wave Survival

Endure escalating waves of undead, face a boss every fifth wave, and fight your way to extraction. Or test your endurance in Endless Mode, where the horde never stops.

Tower Defence

Buy and place turrets, reinforce choke points, and protect the generator from the swarm. Includes its own Endless Mode for long‑form defence runs.

Scavenge

Survive and explore a more open world map. Find explosives, destroy the structures and collect the salvage. Destroying the structures will alert the horde. Kill the final boss and escape. This mode will keep players on their toes.
