About This Demo

That is one case. People will tell you what happened. They will be confident about it, and some of them will be lying. You settle it by writing a line of code, and the records answer back.

SQL is the language databases speak. It sits behind every search box and bank statement you have ever used, and here you write it for real. Your queries hit an actual database built from the case files. Keywords get you nothing. The rows you pull have to match the rows that close the case.

  • You keep the skill. These are the same clauses people write at work on Monday.

  • The errors make sense. When your line breaks, the game tells you why and underlines the word that did it.

  • The results are yours. Read them. Chart them. Pin them to the wall and keep going.

A statement is just a claim until it is up on the board next to a timestamp. Pin a row. Tear off a column. Run red thread between what somebody said and what the database recorded.

  • Nobody pins it for you. What ends up on that wall is what you decided mattered.

  • The board remembers. A timestamp you pinned an hour ago is still hanging there when a new query contradicts it.

  • You accuse from the wall. The thread you drew is the argument you are making.

Fires. Deaths. Missing money. Machines that lied. Every case is its own crime with its own evidence files, and you walk out of each one holding a clause you did not have before. More are coming.
