Archmage Rises is still under development, but we have now hit a milestone in our development that we have an engaging, fun, and playable build, and we are ready to share this with the world!

We chose to release in early access because there is still many new features of the game we will implement, and including players in this process helps us focus on developing the best possible and most fun mage simulator experience!'

Approximately 12 months. The game itself is engaging and playable with essential core features developed, but we have a much larger vision for the game that we'd like to build out. Once we've completed these (what we internally consider must have) features, we will move into our official 1.0 release.

And we still have much more planned beyond our 1.0 release!'

• Bounties, crime and punishment systems
  
• Kingdoms, Kings, and royal edicts which change the game world
  
• NPC rivals to ally or destroy
  
• Factions like the Conclave or Renegades to join, rank up, control or destroy
  
• 7 Noble houses to ally or defy
  
• Fully developed Mage Tower building system with 30+ room types
  
• Expanded NPC interactions, including romance
  
• 8 more races of monsters to combat
  
• 50+ rebalanced spells, each with valuable upgrades to research

• More items, weapons, armor, spells, etc
  
• UI improvements and optimizations

'The Early Access version is a solid mage simulator in it's own right. The game begins with our world generation tool that procedurally generates a unique world full of unique towns, NPCs, merchants, dungeons, quests, etc.

You can:

• Meet and build relationships with various NPCs, shop keepers, etc
  
• Hunt and eliminate monsters and vagabonds roaming the land
  
• Explore and loot dungeons
  
• Mine and sell resources
  
• Take on and complete quests
  
• Progress your skills and become a powerful mage
  
• Want to become a merchant by buying/selling items to make a profit? You can do that
  
• Want to become a thief, stealing from various stores and selling it in other towns for a profit? You can do that too
