About This Game

Your Choices Tell Your Story

Roll Value is a narrative-driven, tabletop-inspired RPG in which you guide three adventurers through a kingdom in crisis.

A dragon egg has been stolen, monster attacks are escalating, and the kingdom is steadily losing both people and soldiers. Decide whom to protect, what to prioritize, and which sacrifices you are willing to accept. There is no single correct answer.

Traits and Dice Shape the Outcome

Each adventurer has different abilities and traits. Your chosen actions, the character attempting them, and the roll of the dice can all change what happens next.

Even the same decision may lead to a different result depending on who takes action and which traits they possess.

Choose Your Path

Pursuing the stolen dragon egg is not the only way to help the kingdom. You may instead focus on its people, its security, or the growing threat of monsters.

Your decisions determine which events unfold and where the journey ultimately leads.

Discover the Values Behind Your Decisions

Every choice contributes to five principles:

• Heroic
• Egoistic
• Altruistic
• Normative
• Utilitarian

At the end of the journey, Roll Value looks beyond simple victory or defeat. Based on the decisions you made, it presents a value profile reflecting what you chose to protect—and what you were willing to leave behind.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI was used to assist in creating pre-generated content for the game and its promotional materials, including character artwork, event illustrations, and background music based on the developer's own compositions. It was also used to help draft and localize much of the game's text. All included content was reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer. No content is generated by AI during gameplay. The in-game "AI" game master, Mon, is a fictional character, and all of its dialogue is pre-written.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game contains fantasy violence, mild blood, death, corpses, killing, criminal acts such as robbery and theft, and mild profanity. Depending on the player's choices, it is possible to kill an injured person who can no longer fight, take belongings from a fallen character, or kill a defeated monster or subject it to cruel punishment. A character may also die as the result of an accident caused by the party. The game also contains references to human sacrifice. These themes are presented primarily through text and illustrations. The game does not contain extreme gore or sexual content.
