About This Demo

Build Your Deck Mid-Fight. Outbuild Your Enemy. Conquer Contested Space.

The Contested Space demo is the full first act. Every battle is a draft: cards rotate through your personal market mid-fight, and each turn you choose between firepower now and an engine that pays off later. Deploy stations to shield your core and fire every turn, or go wide with ship combos and race your opponent to the snowball.

What's in the demo

• Act 1, fully playable, with branching star maps, elite encounters, and every Act 1 event

• Six playable factions: the Terran Ironveil Armada, the Chitin Pheromind Collective, the Axiom Gilt Protocol, plus the Neutral option in each of the three alliances

• All ten randomized bosses, any of which can show up at the end of Act 1

• Every card in the game is obtainable, including cards from factions you aren't playing

• Incursion difficulties. Beat Act 1 once to unlock modifiers that change the rules and turn up the pressure.

• Run history, seeded runs, and a full card collection viewer

• Your progress carries over to the full game

What's waiting in the full game

Acts 2 and 3, all nine factions, 2 to 4 player online co-op with separate markets, 20 Incursion levels, hidden content, and the true ending. Coming Q2 2027.
