About This Game

THE MOUNTAIN DOES NOT NEGOTIATE

Krukmore is a mountain, and everything on it wants your heroes dead.

You take two heroes to the summit. Not four, not six — two. When one falls, the other climbs alone. When both fall, the run is over and the mountain resets, indifferent, waiting for the next pair of fools to start at the bottom.

Ten floors. Fifty kinds of enemy. Eighty-nine dice to find. Every turn asks the same question:

What do you roll, and what do you hold back?

EVERY DIE IS A WEAPON

Your heroes don't have abilities. They have dice.

A Rusty Blade is four faces of Slashing and two of nothing. A Kite Shield is mostly Armor. An epic weapon might devastate an enemy on one face and give you absolutely nothing on another.

Choose which dice to commit each turn, roll them, and live with the result.

Every face is printed. Enemy resistances, vulnerabilities and immunities are shown before you act. If a monster takes double damage from Fire and shrugs off Slashing, you know it before you roll.

There is no hidden math in Krukmore.

There is only arithmetic you didn't do.

BUILD TWO HEROES

Choose your pair from 8 races and 14 classes, with different access to Strength, Skill, Magic and Holy dice.

As your heroes level during a run, new equipment slots open and increasingly powerful dice become available. A hero reaching the summit looks nothing like the one who started at the bottom — and you built them from whatever the mountain was willing to give you.

WHAT'S ON THE MOUNTAIN

  • 10 hand-built floors, from Goblin Warrens to the Krukmore Summit

  • 50 enemy types with distinct attacks, targeting behavior, resistances and vulnerabilities

  • 89 unique dice across four disciplines and four rarity tiers

  • 22 consumables, including potions, scrolls and elixirs

  • Random encounters, shrines, sacrifices and dangerous bargains

  • 11 hidden secrets to discover

  • 120 achievements that feed permanent progression

  • Unlockable races, classes and Hard Mode

  • A Bestiary and Grimoire that fill as you discover the mountain

  • Full gamepad support

NO SAVE SCUMMING

There is one save file, and it writes when you act — not when you want it to.

A death is a death. A bad bargain stays bargained. The monster that ends your run goes into the Hall of Heroes with your name next to it.

Runs are short enough to attempt over lunch and long enough that losing one near the summit will genuinely annoy you.

That annoyance is the game.

TRANSPARENT BY DESIGN

Krukmore hides nothing except its secrets.

Damage numbers are printed. Enemy behavior is stated. The combat log tells you what resisted, what got through, what was absorbed and why.

The difficulty comes from decisions, not from information you weren't given.

Two heroes. Ten floors. Eighty-nine dice. One mountain.

Climb.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Krukmore is developed by a solo developer who uses generative AI as part of the production pipeline. Character and environment sprite art was created using AI image generation, then processed, edited, and integrated by hand. Portions of the game's code were written with AI assistance under the developer's direction, with all systems designed, reviewed, and tested by the developer. All AI-generated content is created during development ("pre-generated") — the game does not generate any content while you play, and no AI runs on your machine. Game design, writing, and all creative decisions are the work of the developer.
