You awaken to a living planet: millions of people, thirteen settlements, and a civilization held together by worn infrastructure, improvised agreements, and decades of local history. Its communities survived without your direction. They formed councils, built relationships, and learned who they could depend on.

Now the planetary network is coming back online—and responsibility for its future has fallen to you.

New Dawn Protocol is a globe-scale civilization sandbox about rebuilding shared systems and living with what they make possible. Restore damaged corridors. Expand settlements across distinct biomes. Build power, water, food, care, industry, research, and transport networks that must function as connected parts of a real world.

Then let time move.

Workers commute. Freight follows the routes you built. Households migrate toward opportunity. Infrastructure ages. Storms expose fragile dependencies. Shortages travel across borders. Settlements specialize, relationships deepen, and successful arrangements become institutions with members, rules, leaders, and histories of their own.

Build systems people can inhabit

Place and upgrade settlements directly on the globe. Connect distant regions, restore lost capacity, and decide where the next generation of planetary infrastructure will take root.

Every project is more than a bonus. It requires material, labor, time, and continued support. Once operational, it carries real power, water, goods, services, and people—and creates new possibilities and new dependencies.

Shape a society through consequences

Local councils retain their own priorities and authority. Communities may cooperate, negotiate, withhold support, or break away when conditions demand it.

Your decisions establish precedents. A temporary freight guarantee can become a permanent institution. Emergency authority can restore order—or leave a grievance that shapes politics for years. Aid, neglect, trust, coercion, and fulfilled promises become part of the world’s memory.

There is no morality meter waiting to grade you. The planet itself records what your choices accomplished, who paid the cost, and what followed.

Watch history emerge

Follow named residents, changing settlements, regional blocs, shared institutions, and the physical networks that bind them together. Trace events back through a living public record to understand not only what happened, but why.

No two worlds develop the same character. Geography, construction, migration, weather, political memory, and your own priorities combine into histories that were never scripted in advance.

Decide your place among worlds

Beyond your network, other societies are rebuilding too. Discover them through uncertain signals, establish contact, exchange knowledge and physical cargo, negotiate treaties, manage migration, offer aid—or allow mistrust to harden into sanctions, blockades, and conflict.
