Why Early Access?

“Amber Ridge is a passion project made by one person. Development has lasted over a year and during that time things like the games aesthetics and gameplay has been redesigned and scaled up. I am working hard each day to make the game as perfect as it can be. I have a lot of goals in mind and I am sure I will be changing a few things around before a full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan on adding a lot more things into the game post early access launch. Prior to a release of a 1.0 a lot of game mechanics will be implemented or changed. Roughly three years of development post early access is what is expected. With further content updates after 1.0 is released.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan on adding a lot more features during early access some of these include:
- Character customization
- More items
- Cooking recipes in the house
- House upgrades
- More areas to explore
- Ranching
- Achievements
- More in-depth relationship system
- Heart events
- Seasonal events
- Quests
- Gifting items to villagers
- More characters introduced

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Amber Ridge currently has a good baseline for what is already in the game, such as:
- Farming
- Crafting items like chests, scarecrow, sprinkler etc
- Fishing
- Fully explorable mines
- Soundtrack
- Town is upgradeable, can unlock Pub, store upgrade for more seed types, houses
- Donate to the museum
- Lots of items to collect and people to meet!

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes! The game is currently cheaper than the full release will be to reward those who want to show support early! The price will be increased upon a full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I have a few ways you can reach me to give your suggestions and feedback. I have Twitter/X, email or my reddit account. Your suggestions and feedback will help me decide on the content added in each patch. I will be extra active after an update so I can know what changes to be made based on community likes and dislikes. ”

About This Game


Start fresh in a quiet town that needs your help to thrive again. Build a life at your own pace as you grow your farm, restore local businesses, meet new villagers, and uncover everything the surrounding land has to offer.

Plant a wide variety of seasonal crops, raise animals, craft useful equipment, and turn what you gather into valuable goods. Spend peaceful days fishing by the water, searching for forage, or getting to know the people who call the town home.

When you are ready for adventure, descend into the mines to battle creatures, gather rare materials, and hunt for treasure. Use what you discover to improve your tools, expand your farm, complete the museum, and help rebuild the community.

Help rebuild shops, homes, and community buildings. As the town grows, new opportunities and new people will become part of your everyday life.

Meet the Villagers

Get to know all of the residents, learn their stories, and build lifelong connections. Who knows, as friendships deepen, you may even find love beginning to bloom.

Explore and Discover

Catch a variety of fish across rivers, lakes, oceans and even the ponds on your farm. Gather forage, break open geodes, donate to the museum, and explore the depths of the mine.
