About This Game

HOW LONG CAN YOU HOLD THE ISLAND?

Hordia is a top-down survival roguelike. One island, one endless night, and a horde that never stops arriving. There are no chapters and no way out. The only question is how far you get before it takes you.

A wave is a clock. Survive it and the next one starts, and every wave lets something new into the horde, so what walks at you is never only bigger than what came before.

CLICK TO MOVE. CLICK TO KILL.

Point-and-click combat with weight behind it. Chain the spear's combo into a finisher, cleave with the sword, slam with the hammer, pick your shots with the bow, or call lightning down on a whole pack with the wand. Every weapon carries its own upgrade tree and its own way of being played. Dash out when it closes in.

EVERY RUN BUILDS DIFFERENTLY

Tomes drop across the island. Walk into one, look at what it offers, and take the augment you want. Commit to a family and it starts to resonate: frost that freezes a crowd where it stands, ember that keeps burning after the hit, void that deletes whatever it touches. Your rail starts small and grows as the run goes on.

CRACK IT OPEN

Chests sit scattered across the island, and what falls out of them is the run's own loot. The gap between waves is yours to spend it in. Carry the coins back to the market and buy weapon lines, health, speed, emplacements, and a recall that pulls you out when a wave goes wrong.

HOLD THE GROUND YOU CAN'T STAND ON

Coins buy defences. Set a cannon down across the path the horde walks and it works the line while you fight somewhere else. Cannons come in grades and carry their own tree for damage, rate of fire and range. Mines cover whatever the cannon misses.

THE LAIRS CLIMB WITH YOU

World bosses stand out on the island from the moment a run begins, and not one of them will ever come to you. Walking out to a lair costs you the ground you were holding, so it is always a decision. Take the fight and the horde backs off for the length of it. Win, and the lair puts up something stronger, worth more coins, holding a better tome. Leave a lair alone and it is still waiting at the bottom of its ladder long after the horde has stopped being funny.

TAKE IT TOGETHER

Play it alone, or bring friends. Open a lobby, invite through Steam or hand out the code, and the island runs the same for everyone: the same waves, the same lairs, one shared market, one fight.
