About This Content

Three Nights as the Security Guard of Zakuro Danchi

Zakuro Danchi: Night Shift is a horror adventure game in which you work the night shift from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM for three consecutive nights.

Monitor the security cameras for anomalies, patrol the apartment complex, and deal with its residents and visitors as you carry out your duties and uncover the story behind the night shift.

Some anomalies are subtle.

Others are impossible to ignore.

Pay close attention to what belongs—and what does not.

Basic Gameplay

Time passes in real time during your shift.

You can choose how long each in-game hour lasts: 20, 40, or 60 seconds.

※ Time pauses while certain commands are being performed and during some events.

Inside the Security Office

  • Monitor the security cameras
If you notice an anomaly, go to the scene and investigate it.

  • Check the resident and visitor lists
All visitors must write their real name in the visitor log.

  • Speak with residents and visitors
Always greet residents when you encounter them.

  • Answer phone calls
Reporting incidents to the management company is optional during the night shift. You may hear some unexpected conversations if you call.

Patrolling the Apartment Complex

You can patrol every floor of the building, as well as the rooftop.

During the night shift, you must patrol the complex once every two hours.

While patrolling, you may discover things that should not be there—or other abnormalities.

If you find an anomaly, you must investigate it.

Not everything can be seen through the security cameras.

—If something catches your attention, go and see it for yourself.

Follow the Rules

There are rules you must follow while working at Zakuro Danchi.

Breaking them will increase your “Spiritual Disturbance Level.”

There are ten levels in total.

As the level rises, Hozumi’s perception—and the apartment complex itself—will begin to distort.

And if it reaches Level 10—

you will no longer be able to act.

Which things are anomalies?

Which are hallucinations?

Performing your duties becomes far more difficult when you can no longer tell the difference.

Whatever happens—

follow the rules.

—Why are you still here?
