About This Game

The planet is alive. And it is not glad to see you

You are a colonist. A teleporter has appeared in a new alien world. All it can give you is a single drone and a minimal stock of resources. Around you stretches an endless procedural world: mountains, lava, veins of minerals and thorium, thickets and pockets of native life that do not know about you yet.

Yet.

Terrahold is a strategy sandbox about base building, power, and defense on a living planet. There are no missions and no handcrafted levels. Each run is an open procedural match with its own unique map. You set the pace. You decide how far you are willing to go.

Build a colony. Protect the teleporter

The teleporter is your starting anchor. As long as it stands, colonization continues. If it is destroyed, the run is lost.

Robots are your workforce. Repair drones build and mend, guards hold a post or pursue a threat, the scout reveals the fog of war. You manage a system, not every unit like in a classic RTS.

The outpost lives on the power grid: solar panels and transmission lines. Without storage, mining stops, and you cannot grow your drone fleet. To push further you need thorium veins, thermal generators on the lava edge, and nuclear plants that can wrest victory from the planet.

Nature strikes back

Your main opponent is not scripted waves, but the ecosystem. Vines take the land and chew through walls, wires, and buildings. Spiders mass in the fog and strike as a group. Eggs in the thickets hatch both hunters and spore colonies: they grow, fire from range, and make the vegetation around them more aggressive.

The planet does not wait its turn to strike. The wider the colony, the more eggs, the denser the thickets, the harder the pressure. The question is not only how to hold the line, but how much land you are willing to take — and what you will pay for it.

Radar will ping threats and deposits. A flamethrower burns the vines, a cannon turret holds the range, a wall buys time. But if the teleporter falls, the run is over.

Victory is the link

A living teleporter is not a win by itself. To win, you must open a permanent tunnel into the network of worlds — and that takes a power grid with a large energy surplus. Solar panels are not enough: you will have to find and mine thorium and spend it running nuclear plants.

Hold control. Build the surplus. Open the link.

Key features

  • Procedural hex map: terrain, resources, and starting conditions change every run

  • Power grid as the colony's backbone: wires, sun, lava, thorium

  • Storage, drone caps, and pressure to expand

  • Robots build, repair, scout, and defend — no RTS micro

  • A reactive ecosystem: vines, spiders in the fog, spores and eggs instead of scripted waves

  • The threat grows with your colony

  • Fog of war and radar

  • Clear stakes: protect the teleporter or lose; gather the power and open the link

Who this game is for

If you like base-building, survival, and base defense — and you want a world that does not wait its turn to attack, but resists colonization — Terrahold is for you.

Will you turn this planet into a node in the network of worlds — or another failed expedition?
