About This Game

A Noble Steed is an old-school RPG set in a post-apocalyptic medieval world. After a long war, a mysterious Rot has taken hold across the land, mostly affecting magical creatures at first - but now it has started to infect the humanoid races of the world too. 

Take the reins to slay hordes of zombies and defend what's left of the realm. Explore a completely open world to find new weapons and armour, smash environmental objects for loot, and piece together the origins of The Rot. 

Face off against bosses that test your skills in mounted combat - fight zombie fairies, undead unicorns, and rotten dragons. 

As you obliterate the hordes, the speed you're travelling is just as important as your stats and equipment. If you get slowed down or separated from your horse, the zombies won't take long to overpower you, even in full plate armour! 

Use your loot to level up, upgrade your farm and the village. Travellers are making their way to your village each day in search of a safe refuge. If you make the path safe for them your population will increase, which will unlock new NPC's, buildings and upgrades.

However, if somebody is overwhelmed by zombies, they will then themselves join the horde. Although many are safe in the villages, NPC's are just as vulnerable as you are. 

Work your way up from the broken remains of a once-thriving homestead to create a beautiful estate. Help out your villagers by upgrading them from tents and huts to safe and warm houses, improving the lives of those who live alongside you. You'll meet many different walks of life with unique ideas on how best to deal with The Rot and each other, as many have been spread far from their homes. 

Each Steed has its own unique personality which affects how it behaves and physically moves - some are lazy and like to eat, some are more spicy and will be agitated if not on the move. With over a million possible colour, marking and stat variations on top of their personalities, each is unique and you probably won't see the same one twice! 

You can back loose Steeds from the battlefields, and use them to breed new ones to take your combat to the next level. Maybe you'll make your fortune selling them so that others can fight for survival too. Selling Steeds makes them available for others to use in the fight against The Rot. The more that you send out into the world, the larger the groups of other Knights will be patrolling the area, further aiding you in keeping the roads safe.

The Full Game (Launching around Halloween 2026!)

• 10 Boss Battles, plus a few mini-bosses

• Many enemy types, loosely based on European Legends and Mythology. 

• Fully upgrade the village and farm (with end game content taking this to the next level!) 

• A large open world to explore full of characters to meet, horses to find, and information to seek. 

• Up to 50 horses on your farm, with 12 base colours, eight personalities, over a million possible slot-based marking combinations, and five performance tiers (I honestly have no idea how many combinations it comes out to, but the last time I checked it was well over four million!)
