About This Game

BALLRENA is a build-crafting auto-battler roguelite driven by physical collisions.

Choose a CORE that defines your ball's basic playstyle, buy components of all shapes and sizes from the shop, then fit them onto a grid with only 5x5 slots. Move, rotate, sell, and merge parts to turn limited space into a fighting machine of your own design.

Once battle begins, your ball enters the arena and carries out everything you installed. Every crash, ricochet, and triggered effect is your build answering the challenge.

Components are not icons in a list. Their shapes occupy actual slots on your build grid.

To fit more parts, you must move, rotate, and rethink the space you have. Do you patch a weakness, keep building around a key component, or save room for the next shop? No good idea should be wasted carelessly.

Your CORE determines your battle ball's defining ability and overall direction. Equipment adds weapons, stats, triggers, and special rules.

Find matching equipment to merge and upgrade it. Chase high-tier components, or combine a wider collection of parts into elaborate chains. The same CORE can become a completely different battle ball depending on how you build it.

Send your completed battle ball into the arena and watch it collide head-on with the enemy. The ball fights automatically, but every weapon activation, ability trigger, and collision chain begins with a choice you made before the fight.

Feeling strong enough? Take a Bounty and challenge a more dangerous enemy for extra rewards. Need room to breathe instead? An Assistance Clause can weaken the enemy in any non-BOSS battle, but the rewards will be reduced as well.

After each battle, return to the shop and turn your winnings into new opportunities for your build.

Buy duplicate parts to complete an upgrade, or tear everything apart around an unexpected key component. Every purchase competes for the same limited money and space, and a higher price does not always mean greater power.

Whenever you merge equipment to a higher tier, choose one of three permanent upgrades for that component. Under the right conditions, some parts can even make money for you. If it fits and the chain works, then it truly belongs to your build.

Keep expanding your assembly throughout a run and use CORE skills with run-wide effects to bend stable rules in your favor. Adapt to different enemies and arenas, and find the combination that makes the entire machine come alive.

Retro arcade flavor, soft and distinctive visuals, and crisp, violent collision feedback. There is no ready-made perfect loadout here—only a 5x5 console and a ball waiting to be rebuilt from the inside out.

Build it. Then sit back and let it crash.
