About This Game

Eternal Tears is a fantasy, cartoon-style sandbox simulation RPG that combines Survivors-like roguelike gameplay with light, approachable action mechanics. We focus on simulating the world and its NPCs—and on how player interaction changes them—while exploring the fun of creating diverse combat builds and enjoying action gameplay that is easy to control.

Begin Another Life of Adventure in a Fantasy World

You were once first in line to inherit a noble domain, until one day your fiancée and cousin conspired to murder you. But your soul did not disappear. Ten years later, you were reincarnated as a weak slime.

Taking human form, you become an adventurer, accept guild commissions, and journey across the land. Slay monster hordes and powerful monster lords to gather materials, forge equipment, build and manage a homestead, grow crops, and run a potion business. Accumulate strength and wealth so that one day you can return to your homeland and uncover the truth behind your murder.

Cut Down Monsters and Stand Your Ground Against Bosses

Swing your weapons through vast hordes of monsters and enjoy the thrill of mowing them down. When facing bosses, you are no longer limited to dodging nonstop.

Counterattack with a shield, guard with a greatsword before unleashing a charged heavy strike, use dual-blade combos to deflect a barrage of projectiles, or clash beams head-on with a boss... Simple tactical actions meet powerful, hard-hitting combat feedback.

With over 400 pieces of equipment and socketable items, plus more than 300 skills and talents to mix and match, combine interconnected mechanics to create the build you find most fun.

Emergent Stories Driven by NPC Simulation

More than one hundred NPCs from different nations and organizations have their own needs, beliefs, personalities, emotions, friends and family, as well as people they love or hate.

Driven by their own needs, they venture into dangerous areas. When multiple NPC parties meet, they may cooperate or compete. Faced with danger, some will protect their companions, while others may abandon them and flee alone. If an expedition fails, they may be captured and imprisoned by monsters—or even killed. They bring their experiences and the stories they have heard back to town, where those stories continue to spread.

During events, you can rescue, negotiate, plunder, or simply stand by and watch. Through lies, evidence, gifts, or shared adventures, you can change what NPCs believe about you or one another.

You can form adventuring parties with NPCs and become close friends, lovers, spouses, or bitter enemies. They will remember your preferences and promises—and everything you have done to them.

Build a Homestead and Run a Potion Shop

Build and expand your homestead, cultivate magical plants, and combine your harvest with monster materials to brew potions with a variety of effects. Sell them to other adventurers in your own shop and earn a profit.

The world is constantly evolving. Nations may go to war, and different goods will become scarce at different times. Information brokers can tell you which potions will fetch the best price—and when.
