About This Game

Raise a Settlement. Shape a Region.

Medieval Adventure is a settlement-management and regional-strategy game in which you guide a small medieval community through growth, scarcity, changing seasons, and dangers beyond its borders.

Assign villagers to essential work, construct homes and industries, secure food for the coming season, and develop production chains that transform raw materials into bread, tools, weapons, armor, and valuable trade goods.

Every worker matters. Villagers assigned as traders, soldiers, patrol guards, or expedition workers physically leave the settlement and remain unavailable until their duties are complete.

Build a Living Medieval Economy

Develop your settlement from a vulnerable community into a productive and well-defended regional center.

Construct farms, gardens, orchards, workshops, storage buildings, markets, blacksmiths, barracks, chapels, roads, and fortifications. Assign your population carefully, balance production against consumption, and make sure essential goods reach the buildings that need them.

Expand your economy through interconnected resource chains while managing limited workers, local storage, transportation, construction costs, and seasonal needs.

Endure the Seasons

The passing year brings changing weather, production conditions, food requirements, and new risks.

Rain can turn roads muddy. Winter places pressure on your food reserves. Storms, snow, and other difficult conditions can disrupt normal settlement life. Prepare during prosperous periods, maintain sufficient stores, and react before a shortage becomes a crisis.

Time can be paused or accelerated, allowing you to carefully plan major decisions or observe your settlement operating at greater speed.

Explore Beyond Your Borders

Open the World Map and venture beyond the safety of your settlement.

Survey forests, plains, meadows, hills, mountains, rivers, and marshes. Discover regional locations, investigate points of interest, and decide where your people should expand next.

Launch expeditions using real civilian workers and optional Guards. Provide the necessary supplies, account for travel time, oversee construction, and establish persistent resource outposts suited to the surrounding terrain.

Outposts contain finite regional reserves and limited local storage. Keep them supplied, arrange pack shipments, repair damaged operations, reinforce them with Guards, or recall their workers when the risks become too great.

Trade and Build Relationships

Your settlement is part of a wider region populated by independent villages and cities.

Assign villagers as traders, choose their destinations, select which resources they will carry, and account for the time they spend travelling. Foreign traders and caravans can also arrive with opportunities of their own.

Develop relationships with neighbouring settlements through trade, gifts, delegations, and diplomacy. Establish Trade Pacts and Defensive Alliances, navigate rivalries, and decide which regional powers deserve your trust.

Defend What You Have Built

Prosperity attracts unwanted attention.

Bandit pressure can grow across the region, threatening roads, caravans, outposts, and the settlement itself. Recruit civilians into your Army, equip soldiers with weapons and armor produced by your blacksmiths, and deploy Guards where they are needed most.

Send regional patrols to protect important routes and suppress bandit activity. Build walls, watchtowers, and a defended gatehouse. When a raid approaches, choose how your defenders will respond and what they will protect.

Every defensive decision carries a cost. Soldiers serving away from home cannot perform other duties, damaged defenses require resources to repair, and an unprotected economy may lose far more than silver.

Write the Story of Your Settlement

Will you create a peaceful trading town, a fortified stronghold, a productive agricultural center, or a regional power supported by distant outposts and trusted allies?

In Medieval Adventure, the future of the settlement is shaped by how you manage its people, resources, relationships, and ambitions.
