About This Game

You build a city kingdom and send heroes to quest while defending off the hordes of darkness. Should the city fall darkness wins again, an heir will rise and begin a new run where the world remembers the chronicles of previous attempts. Unravel the story of the world as factions and races long forgotten rise up to the aid (or doom) of your cause.

Build a City of Heroes

This hex-based base builder centers around your heroes. Build a hold for them to call home on one tile, and surround it with buildings. Each hero manages the tiles around its hold, providing bonuses and unique synergies that impact how the hero functions and the effect of these buildings. Supercharge farms, or maximize the hero's potential, the choice is yours.

Heroes

Found lasting dynasties that manage and defend your realm. Use them to quest in the faraway lands for riches and experience, or defend against the waves of darkness. Just beware! A hero questing will leave the tiles they manage unattended, rendering those tiles idle during production!

Use your resources to improve your heroes in a variety of skill trees. Unlock skills to supercharge how they quest, defend, and how their buildings operate!

Quest!

Each hero can embark on a journey beyond the edges of the map, leaving their lands unattended. There they grind for experience and loot, growing more powerful with each level.

On their journey, your heroes will find themselves in many strange encounters. Guide their choices, and watch them get shaped by their adventure!

Defend against the waves of darkness

You are not welcome in these lands, and the dark lord will try to crush your upstart kingdom. Use your heroes to defend against the coming hordes in an auto battler on a massive scale. How you've shaped the heroes will determine how they fare in combat. Teeter on the edge of defeat, as you choose which heroes should defend, and which heroes should continue to quest for more power.

Prepare strategies and shape your heroes to fight against a variety of bosses, each requiring careful planning to survive. Defeat them all in a game of three acts to face off against the dark lord themself.

A world that persists between runs

Defeat is almost certain, but the world remembers. Watch the world grow as you encounter dwarves, elves, and other forgotten factions awaken and become available as new encounters for heroes during their adventures. Gain access to new building options, upgrades, or even new types of heroes you'll be able to recruit. Equally, stumble upon new dangers that will make each run more dangerous than the last.
