Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« We chose to release HOVR on Early Access because we wanted it to be played and experienced by the Steam Community as soon as possible. We strongly believe that the quality of the product can be significantly improved by working alongside with the Community, and that is why we want to involve players from the early stages of the game development process,

People's feedback is key, especially in a market as new as the VR industry, where everything is still to be done. In that sense, we seriously want to listen what the community has to say about our game (including tips & observations), not only to fix bugs, reduce motion sickness issues and develop new characters & arenas, but also to make HOVR meet players needs and expectations.

Nevertheless, the current state of the game allow players to enjoy a high quality VR experience, even though it is not finished. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« It's difficult to predict when the full version of HOVR will be available, but we expect it to be on Early Access for about a year.
This will strongly depend on the funding we get to accelerate the game development process and the time it takes us to meet the quality standards we are aiming for.
HOVR has already been in development for about a year, so whatever it happens, we won't launch it before it's ready. »

« The full version of the game will include:

  • New and enhanced graphics.
  • New battle modes .
  • New characters.
  • New arenas.
  • New guns & powerups.
  • HTC Vive compatibility.
And some features based on players feedback. »

« As we said before, the Community comes first. That's why we plan to involve the Community in the development process by taking into account all the feedback, tips and critics they can provide. At the same time, we will post updates of the game on a daily basis, and on Reddit and Twitch, so that the Community can have many channels to communicate with each other and with us. »

HOVR is fully imagined & designed for virtual reality. The cool thing about it is that it combines the exciting and innovative world of VR with the proven competitivity of classic car combat games. And unlike other VR products it will be FREE TO PLAY, so you won’t have to spend money before playing it. We want you to try it and enjoy it freely for as long as you like.

Lore & Background Story


The HOVR universe is set on a dystopic and futuristic world, where an evil and totalitarian corporation rules over the destinies of mankind. To keep the masses subdued, they organize a tournament called “The HOVR-cup”. Every year, new brave competitors fight to the death for freedom and for glory!"
