„We do not want to be that developer that never listens to their community and their wishes. As we truly value player feedback and love engaging with the community we believe that the Early Access phase is a great way to get our game out there and involve even more players in the development. We want to hear from you guys what kind of weapons you want to see in the game and anything else from new bosses, monster types and what you think needs doing.

So with Dropship Down we invite everyone to come try the game, give us your feedback and to join us in our Discord channel where we hang out all the time while we're working. Come be part of making Dropship Down even better!”

„We're aiming to have Dropship Down move out of Early Access sometime this Autumn 2016.”

„We'll be adding more weapons and bosses and are working on a lot more additions such as new maps, new game modes and more gadgets for players to enjoy. We're also working on adding in local co-op but what you, the players, want and express your desire to see during this EA phase will determine what we focus on as well.”

„The game is fully playable right now and has 13 weapons and more are coming continously. Our main game mode is "Horde Mode" where the player(s) fight against an onslaught of enemies. For now it's easy to get on and play with your friends and more content is coming!”

„The price for Dropship Down will not change once we leave early access.”

Dropship Down is a fun and intense twin-stick alien shooter for up to four players.


  • Mow down aliens using a space freighter’s worth of weapons and gadgets.
  • Get eaten alone or let your friends get gnawed on first - supports solo play as well as online multiplayer for up to four players.
  • Full support for playing with controllers or keyboard and mouse.
  • Test your strength against a never-ending alien horde, or take up a specific challenge in one of our game modes.
  • Try to earn unique achievements and rewards - if you’re courageous or foolhardy enough to think you can do it.
  • Form a squad with your friends and climb the high-score rankings - or try your grit as a solo player.


Dropship Down is a co-op alien shooter with twin-stick controls, filled to the brim with a horde of extraterrestrial bugs waiting to eat you and your marine buddies alive. Playing solo or with friends, you face the simple yet difficult challenge of surviving. At your disposal you have an array of exciting weaponry, from the humble but effective shotgun all the way up to the devastating plasma cannon and the blazing-hot flamethrower. You’ll also gain access to powerful gadgets such as the force field generator, the defensive turret and a ton of grenades and mines.

Killing a single bug is easy. You might even be able to taken down a hundred of them. But to withstand thousands upon thousands you need to understand their strengths and weaknesses, adapt your equipment and weaponry to hit them in their weak spots and co-operate with your squad to maintain an effective perimeter - if they’re still alive.
