About This Game

Arithmetrick is a math-based deckbuilding roguelite where you arrange operators into equation chains to hit ever-escalating target scores. Drag cards onto five slots, chain their effects from left to right, and turn a humble base number into a score that breaks the level wide open. One misplaced × could mean the difference between a record-breaking combo and falling just short — every slot counts.

Build Your Equation Engine

At the start of each round, draw a hand of operation cards — addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division — and place them onto five slots in any order. The equation runs left to right: the base number flows through each operator in sequence, and your arrangement determines everything. Put a ×3 next to a +10 instead of a -2, and watch your score rocket. Put it in the wrong place, and you'll limp to the finish line. Four Colors, Four Philosophies

Four color factions define distinct playstyles — mix them freely to create your own hybrid engine.:

- Red — Chain buffs, neighbor auras, and operator transformations. Red cards feed each other, turning a modest board into an avalanche of escalating numbers.

- Yellow — Probability manipulation and high-roll gambling. Every yellow card carries an RNG element — and you can rig the odds in your favor.

- Blue — Discard synergy. Blue cards trade weak division operators for multiplication and permanent stat boosts when thrown away. Sometimes the best play is letting go.

- Wild Cards — Passive artifacts that trigger automatically when conditions are met: extra money, score multipliers, free discards, and rule-bending mutations.

Permanent Collection

Cards you acquire don't disappear after a run. Win or lose, your collection grows. Apply magic items to add new effects, upgrade card levels, unlock rare variants, and build a library that carries forward into every future attempt. Your deck is yours — not just for a run, but for good.
