What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“DOMFC has many systems that can affect each other. Borders can change, economies can rise or fall, and people have lives of their own. Early Access lets us improve how these systems work together over long careers. Player feedback helps us find bugs, improve game balance, and make the results of your choices clearer.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last about 18 to 24 months from our launch on August 10, 2026. This is an estimate, not a fixed release date. We will leave Early Access when the game is ready, not just when that time has passed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to make the living world deeper, with more ways for changing borders, economies, and personal lives to shape your career.

We also plan to add more leagues, cups, and lower divisions. We want to expand youth, reserve, and women's football, improve how the game's systems work together, and keep working on balance and bugs.

These are our goals, not promises. Our plans may change as we test the game and hear from players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“DOMFC is playable now, with four career paths: Club Director, Club Owner, Federation Executive, and First Team Manager.

You can play matches, set tactics, sign players, manage club funds, and build a career across many seasons. The wider world includes changing borders, economic shifts, and events that affect people and football bodies. The game also has an in-game editor, JSON mods, Steam Workshop support, and nearly 100 in-game languages.

The demo offers the full current game during Early Access. DOMFC is still in development, so you may run into bugs, balance issues, or systems that need more work.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price as we add major content and new features. We have not set a final price. Our plans may change as development moves forward.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read Steam discussions, reviews, and bug reports to learn what works and what needs more work. We ask players to share what they tried, what happened, and how to repeat any bugs they find.

We also use player feedback to help set our goals, improve game balance, and decide which parts of DOMFC need the most work. We plan to share updates as the game grows.”

About This Game

Your decisions matter, but they do not stop the world. Borders can change as you play. Recessions can alter the price of a new deal. A case can grow beyond one club. You pick a role, then work with people who have goals and power of their own.

THE WORLD DOES NOT STAND STILL

Some regions can gain independence during your career. A new country does not join world football by default. Football recognition has its own rules.

New borders can change which national team a player can join. The map you start with may not be the map you finish with.

BOOMS, RECESSIONS, AND NEW FORTUNES

Each region has its own path. Its people and wealth can grow at different rates. Booms, slowdowns, and recessions change the money moving through football.

An old deal can keep its fixed terms. A new deal must face the market as it is now. Your plans have to face an economy that keeps changing.

POWER IS SHARED

Choose where you lead. Each role comes with its own powers and limits.

Club Director: Shape signings, contracts, staff, and the club's football plan.

Club Owner: Set the club's goals, budget, and leaders.

Federation Executive: Handle issues that reach beyond one club.

First Team Manager: Lead the team, prepare for matches, and answer for results.

You may need another person's approval. At times, you must live with a choice you did not make.

CONSPIRACIES, CRIME, AND THE LAW

Plots, bribes, and fixed matches can draw people and football bodies into trouble. Lawsuits and criminal cases can reach beyond one club. Some stories take more than one event to unfold.

A scandal can affect a person, a club, or the wider game. Your role shapes which choices you can make when a case reaches you.

PEOPLE HAVE LIVES BEYOND FOOTBALL

A season can change a person's life for reasons far beyond form. People may face family events, deaths and grief, substance abuse, or mental health struggles. Lawsuits and criminal cases can also affect their lives and careers.

The Recovery-safe and Trauma-safe modes filter some hard topics. They change what you see, not the facts your save needs to keep.

YOUR CHOICES HAVE A HISTORY

Other people have careers of their own. Some move from playing into staff roles. Your past choices can return in later events, even after seasons have passed.

Your story becomes part of the world's history. It is never the only story.

FOOTBALL IS STILL THE HEART

Play matches, set tactics, scout, sign players, agree on contracts, and run training. Men's, women's, youth, and reserve football all have a place in the wider game.

EDIT, MOD, AND SHARE

Use the in-game editor to shape your setup. DOMFC also supports JSON-based mods and Steam Workshop.

PLAY IN NEARLY 100 LANGUAGES

Choose from nearly 100 in-game languages.
