Story

The story takes place in Japan after the Third World War. To restore the ancient capital of Kyoto, which was destroyed by war, a virtual reality project called "Tokoyo no Sakura" was launched — a perfect replica of the ancient city, rebuilt on the far side of the moon, in an eternal night.

You play as Haruka Watanabe, a young man haunted by his past and chosen as a tester for the game. During an accident, you become trapped in a "Closed Domain" within the virtual world, where you meet a mysterious shrine maiden named Inori Sakuraba.

She is gentle, enigmatic, and seems to know everything — except for her own past. Her arrival will change the course of your life forever.
