Leaving Early Access: Nov 13, 2026

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're putting out a fully playable version of Qubx2 now to get feedback from the community as we iterate and polish!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We don't have a fixed timeline. We'll leave Early Access when the game is ready, not on a set date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We're focused on tuning the difficulty curve and run economy from real play data, plus ongoing feel and quality improvements, so both Run mode and Quick Play stay sharp from the first shape to the last.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Qubx 2 is fully playable now: Run mode's escalating chapters with a shop and powerups, Quick Play's endless speed climb, special modes, and a full original soundtrack. We're actively tuning balance and the run economy from player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on increasing the price when we leave early access. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want community feedback! Let us know what's working and what's not. ”

About This Game

Turn. Match. Keep up.

Shapes race in along every lane. Rotate the cube so the matching face meets each one, chain clean matches into combos, and hold your nerve as the tempo climbs.

Build your run.

Spend Qubits between chapters on power-ups like Temporal Brake, Double Drop and Second Chance. Then adapt as special modes turn the cube into a phantom, twist the lanes into a spiral or narrow the field to a single shape.

A five-chapter run.

A signal pulses beyond the boundary, and you are the first line of defence. Fight through five chapters to the final confrontation, then Keep Going into an endless run with everything you earned.

Quick Play and leaderboards.

Endless runs with rising speed, special modes, and an octahedron with eight faces and four new lanes. Every run posts to global leaderboards.

Features

  • A five-chapter run, with Keep Going endless play after the finale
  • Quick Play endless mode with special modes and the octahedron
  • Global leaderboards for runs and Quick Play
  • Full controller support, with remappable keyboard and gamepad controls
  • A 16-track original soundtrack
  • Achievements and Steam Cloud saves
  • English, French, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Welsh
