About This Software

The tower is talking to you. Talk back.

Microsoft Flight Simulator's built-in ATC hands you a menu. inFlight ATC hands you a microphone. Hold push-to-talk, say the call the way a real pilot would, release, and the controller answers you by callsign.

A living frequency, gate to gate

  • Every controller: clearance delivery, ground, tower, departure, center and approach, with handoffs between them.
  • Real phraseology: IFR clearances, VFR departures, flight following, go-arounds and non-towered fields.
  • Traffic on frequency: AI airliners check in around you with real airline callsigns. Key up while the channel is busy and you get stepped on.
  • You only hear it once: clearances come at real cadence with no replay. Copy it down, read it back, or ask for a say-again.

Say it like a pilot

  • Bind push-to-talk to a keyboard key or to a button on your yoke, throttle or gamepad.
  • Understands pilot-speak: "niner", "tree", "fife" and the full phonetic alphabet.
  • A Test PTT screen shows exactly what it heard before you go live.
  • If a call doesn't match, click the option card and keep flying.
  • Speech recognition and controller voices run locally on your CPU. No per-word voice fees, no metering.

Three modes, one slider

  • Beginner: the full radio window with a live transcript and clickable responses that show the exact words to say.
  • Intermediate: a translucent, click-through overlay inside your sim view. Options appear only when it's your turn.
  • Advanced: a slim bar and your push-to-talk key. Just talk.
Move the slider mid-flight whenever you're ready.

It knows your flight

  • Import your SimBrief OFP or the plan you built on the MSFS World Map. You're cleared to your destination, on your SID, at your cruise altitude.
  • Reads position, radios and transponder live from the sim, and can tune COM1 and set your assigned squawk for you.
  • Read back "pushback approved" and the tug actually pushes you back.
  • Spawn at the gate, on a taxiway or at FL350. The app detects your phase of flight and puts you on the right frequency.

Warm up for VATSIM

Want to fly on VATSIM, PilotEdge or POSCON but nervous about keying up? Get the reps here first: catching your callsign on a busy frequency, copying clearances, reading back, and waiting for the gap. Fumble the readback at 2 a.m. with nobody listening, then connect for real.

Pay once. Own it.

No subscription and no voice metering. Fly as many hours as you like, with future updates included.

Before you buy

  • Requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024 for PC (Steam or Microsoft Store), sold separately. Xbox and X-Plane are not supported.
  • English phraseology. A microphone is needed for push-to-talk; Beginner mode lets you click your calls instead.
  • Runs on spare CPU cores and adds no GPU load. Check the system requirements below; with MSFS 2024, plan on 32 GB of RAM.
  • For flight simulation use only. Not a trainer for real-world air traffic control.
