About This Game

Runehold is a base builder, strategy game with rougelike elements set in a charming pixel art textured world with elements of both 2D and 3D. Build and explore by day and defend your stronghold by night against an ever increasing difficulty of enemies while you build your escape to the next world.

Here's what Runehold has to offer:

• Recruiting lost souls for help in the stronghold.

• Collecting gold both from the world and the helping hands of your villagers.

• Spending gold by building up both defensive and economic building on preplaced spots in the world.

• Defend against enemy waves at night that get stronger with each passing day.

• Collect powerful items that make not only you stronger, but also your stronghold.

• Escape before the enemy waves get too overwhelming.

Runehold is different from some other base builder games because you actively take part in defending at night with your fellow villagers, not helplessly watching as they battle. Different character options let you decide what kind of play style You enjoy most, whether you like more ranged combat or getting up and personal with melee attacks.
