Why Early Access?

“MemeWorks can already handle the basic workflow for creating and organizing content, but the editing experience, feature completeness, and overall usability still need further improvement.
Through Early Access, we want to provide a version that is already usable while continuing to improve the product based on real user behavior and community feedback. We want to learn which workflows are genuinely useful, which parts are difficult to use, and which improvements should be prioritized, and use that feedback to guide future development.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We currently expect MemeWorks to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.
This is only our current estimate and not a fixed release date. The actual timing may change depending on development progress, product completeness, and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to provide a more complete, stable, and consistent creation experience.
Our current priorities include improving the usability and consistency of each editor, expanding existing editing capabilities, improving project and resource management, and further streamlining the overall workflow of the application.
We will also evaluate new creation tools and features based on development progress and community feedback. The exact scope may change during Early Access, and we will prioritize the parts that provide the most value in real-world use.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of MemeWorks already supports the basic creation workflow on Windows.
It currently includes five creation tools: Tier List, Alignment Chart, Coordinate Axis, Bingo, and Meme Maker. Users can import their own images, organize and edit content in different editors, save their work for later editing, and export finished creations as common image formats including PNG, JPEG, and WebP.
The core workflow is already usable, but some editors and interactions are still limited and some parts of the experience need further refinement. Editing experience, interface consistency, feature depth, and overall usability will continue to improve during Early Access.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes.
During the earlier stages of Early Access, we plan to keep the price relatively low to reflect MemeWorks' current feature set and level of completeness.
As the application becomes more complete and the overall experience improves, the price may increase accordingly. We currently plan to adjust the price gradually as the product matures, and we expect the full version to be priced higher than the initial Early Access version. We will communicate pricing changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to continuously collect feedback through the Steam Community, direct user feedback, and real-world usage.
During Early Access, we will focus on the user experience across different editors, parts of the workflow that are not intuitive enough, common issues, and suggestions for improving existing features.
Community feedback will be an important reference when prioritizing future development, but we will also consider MemeWorks' overall product direction and practical development constraints when deciding how specific ideas are implemented. As new versions are released, we will continue to communicate important changes through Steam announcements and update notes.”
