About This Game

Splendor the Great is a vertically scrolling 2D shoot'em up with a twist: by colliding with the walls of the play-field while holding the fire button, you can change the angle of your ship's shot.

While taking on waves of enemies, you will learn to master the "slide-to-aim" mechanic which gives you freedom over how you position yourself during difficult combat scenarios. The game challenges you to find your own graceful path through each wave. Score is rewarded when you destroy enemies repeatedly without letting the timer at the bottom of the screen elapse.

Any level that has been visited by you previously in a run can be played immediately by selecting it from within the interact menu. Whether you want to craft a new strategy or hone your play, the practice environment allows you to conveniently repeat a level until you are satisfied with your performance.
