What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I want your help to make Minotaur as fun as it can possibly be. On the game discussion page let me know what's fun and what isn't, share your ideas for new features or enemies, and save me from adding things that are universally hated (like Quicktime Events)!!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Maybe a year?”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The finished version will be longer, have more levels, more enemies, and better fights. Plus a hard difficulty once we decide what Easy and Normal should be like, then the enemy AI and attacks can be adjusted to be less forgiving for hard mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“An hour and a half of gameplay if you do a speed run and rarely die, or closer to two hours if you play at a normal pace. The fighting is pretty fun, and most of Minotaur's moves have been set but his stamina cost could change, and so could the damage/hp/timing of enemies.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'd like to have the community help me fine tune things like difficulty, timing, as well as some scope creep and features. Already you've suggested new features like a Lady Minotaur, and local co-op.”

About This Game

Destroy your enemies however you want to destroy your enemies. If you want to button mash through them, that will work for the weaker ones. If you want to block and counter their attacks, you can. If you want to dodge or roll away from their attacks, you can. If you want to crush your enemy to death with a giant rock, then you just need to find a giant rock.
