How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Mineslayer alpha version is limited in scope but not gameplay. Full release is planned to include many additional levels, multiple new enemies, unique boss encounters, several game modes, and the full narrative accompanied by custom cinematic artwork.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Mineslayer is currently in alpha stage. Only 3 unique zones are currently accessible with a limited (but vast) pool of encounters. The action-puzzle gameplay is complete but may still have bugs. All intended items have been implemented. Placeholders have been implemented for art and audio pending final assets. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will gradually increase each major update until final release.”

About This Game

Once upon a time and very long ago, a lovely princess was kidnapped by an evil king and you are the hero that must rescue her! 

In the hostile lands of Drakadia, you will face monstrous foes in real-time action-puzzle combat based on classic Minesweeper. Place shields to defend your weaknesses, clear boards to slay foes, and collect coins to exchange for useful items.

Developed within the limitations of the NES, this classic fantasy adventure inspired by 80’s and 90’s anime/games is an opportunity to experience a brand new 8-bit video game, either once again or for the first time.
