About This Game

The planet is alive. And it is not happy to see you

You are a colonist. A teleporter has materialized in an alien world, and all it can give you is a single drone. Around you stretches an endless procedural surface filled with mountains, lava, resources, dangerous biomes, and pockets of native life that do not know about you yet.

Yet.

Terrahold is a strategic sandbox about base building, economy, and defense on a living planet. There are no missions or handcrafted levels. Instead, each game is an open-ended procedural run where you set the pace and decide how far you are willing to go.

Build a colony. Protect the teleporter

The teleporter is your starting anchor. As long as it remains standing, colonization can continue. If it is destroyed, the run is lost.

Develop your outpost from a landing module into a self-sufficient settlement through resource extraction, processing, storage, power generation, logistics, and defense. Robots are your workforce: they build, scout, and protect the colony. You manage the system rather than micromanaging every unit like in a traditional RTS.

Nature fights back

Your main opponent is not a series of scripted waves, but the ecosystem itself. Aggressive wildlife, roots, spores, nests, infected zones, and migrations. The planet reacts to everything you do: expanding the base, extracting resources, creating noise, clearing vegetation, polluting the environment, destroying nests, and entering dangerous biomes.

The larger your colony becomes, the stronger the resistance grows. The question is not only “How do I survive?” but also “How much of the planet am I willing to take—and what price will I pay for it?”

Victory means establishing the link

Keeping the teleporter operational is not enough to win. You must reactivate it as a node in a network of worlds, which requires a power grid with sufficient capacity. Solar panels will not be enough: you will need to reach the next energy tier, acquire new resources, and construct more complex infrastructure.

Maintain control. Create the right conditions and open the link.

Key features

  • Procedural hex map: terrain, biomes, resources, and starting conditions change with every run

  • Base building and economy: production chains, storage, power, and logistics

  • Robots as the foundation of the colony: extraction, construction, scouting, and defense

  • A reactive ecosystem instead of scripted enemy waves

  • The threat grows alongside your expansion

  • Strategic camera and a focus on systems rather than micromanagement

  • Clear stakes: protect the teleporter or lose the run; activate the link to win

Who this game is for

If you enjoy base building, survival, management, and base defense—and want a world that does not wait for its turn to attack but actively resists colonization—Terrahold is for you.

The planet remembers every step. Will you turn it into a node in the network of worlds, or will your colony become another failed expedition?
