What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As an independent developer, I currently have limited access to large-scale player testing. Early Access will allow me to gather broader feedback on progression, economic and numerical balance, usability, and the overall gameplay experience. This feedback will help me identify issues and continue improving the game together with the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. The exact duration may change depending on player feedback and the amount of balancing, optimization, and additional content required.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the full version with additional buildings, production options, and progression content. We also intend to further improve numerical balance, usability, performance, and the overall gameplay experience based on feedback received during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is a compact but fully playable game with a complete core gameplay loop. Players can build and optimize increasingly complex production systems while experimenting with different factory layouts and production strategies. The game already offers a substantial amount of playable content, although late-game variety, balance, and progression still have room for improvement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to change the price after Early Access. This is intended to remain an affordable, small-scale game that is accessible to as many players as possible.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will actively collect player feedback through the Steam Community, including suggestions, balance feedback, and bug reports. We plan to use this feedback to improve gameplay balance and the overall experience, as well as to determine priorities for future improvements and additional content.”

About This Game

Infinite Number Factory is a dark neon 2D single-player automation and factory-building game. Explore an expanding map, mine numerical resources scattered across the world, and carry them back to your core through independently routed pipeline networks. Plan connections, ports, and transport directions as a small mining outpost grows into a factory spanning multiple layers. Numbers are both your products and the key to progression. Feed numbers into combiners to create larger values, then deliver the required number to the core to upgrade it. Higher core levels unlock additional layers and increase the number of player-built resource nodes you may place. Natural deposits have finite reserves and can be upgraded. Constructed resource nodes provide an unlimited supply of the number 1, remain at level 1, and are limited by your current core level. As production expands, use elevators to move numbers between layers and portals to bridge long distances. Save useful arrangements as blueprints and reproduce them in new production areas. There is no single correct solution: build for compactness, clean organization, maximum throughput, or simply cover the map with an enormous numerical machine. Key features: - Automation built around mining, transporting, and combining numbers - Independently planned pipelines, ports, and transport routes - Core progression, layer unlocking, and continuous factory expansion - Elevators, portals, and output ports - Factory blueprints that can be saved and placed again - Procedurally distributed natural deposits and level-limited constructed resources - Guided onboarding, open-ended building, and an atmospheric electronic soundtrack
