Why Early Access?

“Public Park is still ever expanding, so I am releasing the game into Early Access so that I can potentially build a community, and more importantly so I can gather feedback so I can improve Public Park even further, before I consider the game as "complete".”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Currently, I don't feel confident in giving a solidified estimate on when Public Park will leave early access. I aim for sometime in 2027, 2028 latest. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The biggest difference between Early Access and the Full Version will be the amount of things to do, right now there is admittedly not that much to do, over time, more things will be added, such as mini games, shop items, etc...”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“(Updated August 2026)
The current version of early access includes:
- Joining a lobby with others
- Changing the player's character colour.
- Applying a face to the character.
- Chatting with other players
- Some emotes

Things that have not yet been added
- Lobby list / matchmaking
- Hats
- Fishing & Other Mini games
- The Shop
- Ice Cream!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, Public Park will likely be more expensive once early access is over. But the price will remain firm all the way up until the release date of FV 1.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want to hear what players have to say about Public Park, the Discord & Fluxer servers are the best place to submit bug reports, suggest new ideas, and alike.”

About Public Park

Public Park is a Massive Multiplayer Online game about, well, being in a Public Park, you can talk to people, play on the slides, swings if you fancy, go fish in the pond, eat an ice cream or kick around a football! (the soccer kind, not hand-egg) Honestly, it's hard to describe something where you expected to make your own fun!

You are free to do as you please, or whatever the host allows I guess.
