What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Eris One Stand already offers a solid shoot ’em up roguelike experience, with hundreds of ways to combine ships, weapons, and power-ups. Even with all these possibilities, we continue developing new content and gameplay options to make every run more exciting.

Early Access allows us to use player feedback to refine the game’s balance, improve the overall experience, and continue expanding it alongside the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Eris One Stand to remain in Early Access for approximately three to six months. Our goal is to reach full release once the third and final act is complete and all planned content has been implemented and polished.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to expand the Early Access experience with additional ships, weapons, power-ups, levels, enemies, and bosses, along with the third and final act. We also plan to continue refining the game’s balance, progression, and overall polish based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes the first two acts, featuring battles against the forces of the Algens and the Inaku across their worlds.

Players can experience the complete core gameplay loop: choosing a ship and weapon, shaping each run by stacking power-ups as they progress, fighting through waves of enemies to reclaim the Ice and Fire Kryos Crystals.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price unchanged throughout Early Access and increase it when the game reaches full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through events such as live playtest sessions and occasional closed testing with selected players.

Our Discord community is already part of that process, with members sharing suggestions and feedback since the early stages of development. Their feedback helps us refine the game, identify issues, and shape future updates.

About This Game

The Kryos Crystals have been stolen, and the Pooks are going to war to reclaim the power that keeps their planet alive.

Face the forces of the Algens and the Inaku in a shoot ’em up roguelike where every run is shaped by your choices.

Choose your ship, equip your weapon, and select the right power-ups to tear through waves of enemies as you advance through hostile territory.

BUILD YOUR RUN

Combine ships and weapons, then choose one of three power-ups at the start of each level to strengthen your build.

Your choice of ship and weapon sets the foundation for each run, giving you different ways to move, attack, and deal with enemy fire. From there, every power-up adds something new to your setup.

Stack as many power-ups as you can to experiment with different effects and transform your ship as the run progresses. Every choice can determine how far you’ll go.

Survive a level and your build keeps growing. If your run ends, the power-ups you collected are lost, giving you a chance to try a new setup and see if it can take you all the way.

FIGHT THROUGH THE WAVES

Battle through waves of enemy ships, each with distinct attacks and combat patterns. Keep moving, dodge incoming fire, learn their patterns, and break through their defenses to keep your run alive.

Rely on speed and movement, withstand incoming attacks, or use your ship’s abilities and your weapon’s strengths to find a way through the next wave.

Each victory gives you another chance to strengthen your build and push farther, bringing you one step closer to the boss waiting at the end of the run.

RECLAIM THE KRYOS CRYSTALS

The Kryos Crystals hold the powers of ice and fire—and each species that stole one has a reason to keep it.

The Algens seek the power of ice to keep their robotic systems cool, while the Inaku need fire to survive their frozen world.

You’ll have to make your way through their worlds level by level and find a combination strong enough to overcome every challenge and bring the stolen crystals home.
